Chapter 30

Rosé walked away from Jennie yesterday leaving her to cry herself to sleep yet she couldn't. She missed Rosé beside her overnight, Rosé was like an addiction which helped her to go through days and now she felt empty.

"It's been 2 days since Roseanne visited and 4 days since you both stopped speaking, Jennie. You haven't gone to work either for 2 days. Don't fuck up your career over stupid feelings, they'll go away" Irene served Jennie's favourite coffee and all Jennie sees is Rosie seating in front of her stealing a sip from her coffee.

She signed, "They won't go away..." She felt the tears form in her eyes causing the vision to be blurry. "Because I won't let them..." she got up from the dining table and went back to her room.

"You still have time, it's only been a month, right? You can't be possibly in love with her because there is no way Rosé would fall in love with you. She loves Wendy, she doesn't even have to say the phrases to let people know about her feelings. You are wasting your time by playing distraction..."

No matter how much she buried her face in the pillow she still heard Yeri's voice in her head. It's overshadowing all the time she has spent with Rosie. The single statement made her doubt everything Rosie had told or whatever Rosie had made her feel.

Rosé on the other hand finds the things to preoccupy herself from the pain in her knee. The more she stayed alone the more her mind trapped her in overthinking, she didn't talk to anyone not even her best friend who tried to reach her until Seulgi went to visit her.

"Chaeyoung! Your friends are here to visit" Her mother also sometimes doesn't understand her daughter's behaviour though she was also unfortunate seeing her daughter in pain.

"Who?" she eventually looked at her mom from the video game.

"Seulgi and the gentleman... I don't remember his name" Her mother couldn't even remember the guy's name when they both got in without even asking.

"Taehyung, Mrs. Park" Taehyung smiled waving his hand at her mother.

"Yes, You all talk I'll have snacks prepared for you all..." Zoe left them while Seulgi eyed her friend and taehyung being taehyung hopped on the bed.

"Uh... being bitch again? Don't you get tired? And what the hell I'm hearing you're dating a girl?" he settled on the bed beside Rosé noticing her leg.

"What the fuck happened to your leg?" Seulgi lifted her brows to witness the hot pack on her ankle.

Rosé signed, "I happened to be involved in a minor accident where my ankle strained and got 2 tears in my tissues. I'm on bed rest..." She nipped her elbow into Taehyung's stomach. "And what about you hooking up with a guy in your department"

Taehyung parted his mouth in amazement, "Wh- how... were you spying on me, Park?"

"Seriously this can wait... but have you talked to Jennie?" Seulgi sat on another side of Rosé.

"I did and when I was on my way back home I got in this minor accident. I almost got hit by a car" Rosé doesn't even know what to do with all the things going on in her head and being dramatic in front of people who love her was her favorite thing to do.

"Let it go, Ro. There are a lot of girls better than Jennie and I heard one of them is Wendy, isn't she?" Taehyung always has been the entertainer though this time he was simply pissing them off.

"Since when did it happen? I truly only like Jennie" Rosé answered right away.

"So does that involve if Wendy kisses you, you won't kiss her back?" Taehyung was too reasonable to get on Rosé's nerves yet the question did affect her because she didn't know how would she react.
