Over the next few weeks, Alya and her friends started to teach Star about the wizarding world. They had yet to get her wand from Diagon Alley, so they were mostly doing bookwork to start off with. On one particular day, they had all just finished a session and were sitting at the dining table eating their lunch and talking amongst themselves.
"I can't wait to get my wand so I can start practising magic properly," smiled Star.
"I know, me too," smiled Alya. "We'll go and get it all once your letter comes,"
"I'm more excited to get you a broom," smiled Theo. "You're going to be amazing at quidditch, just like us,"
"I'm going to go and buy you one tomorrow," said Mattheo. "If you like it, you can try out for the team when we get to Hogwarts,"
"You're obviously going to be in Slytherin," said Tom. "I'd be concerned if you weren't,"
"But what happens if I'm not?" asked Star. "What if I'm in the puffy one? Or something else,"
"You mean HufflePuff," laughed Pansy. "You definitely won't be,"
"Even if you are, it doesn't matter," said Alya. "Houses don't mean anything really, you'll make lots of friends and we'll all be proud of you regardless,"
"There's no way she'll be anything other than Slytherin though," said Blaise. "Her whole family is Slytherin,"
"I want to be with you guys," said Star. "I hope I am Slytherin,"
"Me too," smiled Draco.
"Guys, we should go on a trip or something before school starts," said Enzo.
"A trip?" asked Alya.
"Yeah, like we should all go away somewhere together," replied Enzo.
"That's random," said Mattheo. "But I agree, it does sound nice,"
"Where would we go?" asked Pansy.
"What about camping?" asked Alya.
"What the bloody hell is camping?" asked Tom.
"Like with tents?" asked Blaise.
"Yeah, like the muggles do," said Enzo. "Although we have some advantages, like extendable tents and stuff so it would be easier. Ally and I used to go all the time with... with my mum,"
"I still have no idea what you're going on about," said Tom.
"Same here," said Draco.
"It's like sleeping outside but in a tent," said Alya. "We make a little fire and toast marshmallows and stuff,"
"Why would anyone want to sleep outside in front of a fire?" asked Mattheo. "What's the point when we can sleep in a nice warm house?"
"You're honestly such a barbie girl sometimes, Matt," laughed Pansy.
"He's right though," agreed Tom. "It just sounds unnecessary,"
"It isn't," said Enzo. "It's a really nice experience,"
"I want to go!" said Star. "It sounds fun,"
"That's settled then," said Alya. "We're going,"
"Great," said Draco, sarcastically.
"Oh come on, you're all going to love it once we're there," smiled Alya.
"I'm sure," said Tom with a heavy sigh. "You're such a princess, Star,"
"Yep," smiled Star, sweetly. "So when are we going?"
"Tomorrow?" asked Enzo. "We can go there in the morning and spend the day there,"
