The buzz of excitement all over Hogwarts was excruciating for Alya and her friends. It was the morning of the first task, and the chatter in the great hall was louder than ever at breakfast. The students were allowed to mix tables for breakfast, seeing as it was such an exciting day.

Multiple people had come to pat Cedric on the back and wish him luck for the tournament. Some would offer Star a small smile and whisper 'good luck' to her as they passed, but Star was terrified.

Once breakfast was over, the Slytherins and Gryffindors walked Star and Cedric down to the champions tent next to the Quidditch Pitch.

"Ally, I don't want to do this," Star's voice broke as she looked up at Alya, tears filling her eyes.

"I know, babe," smiled Alya, wrapping her arms around the young witch.

"We'll be okay, Star," smiled Cedric. "I'll make sure of it,"

"We'll be sitting in the stands watching you," Mattheo said, pulling her in for a hug.

"We won't let anything happen to you, we promise," Tom assured her.

"How very touching," Rebecca Knight sneered from behind the group.

"Get lost, Knight," Enzo rolled his eyes. "I cannot be arsed for your shit today,"

"Fancy another punch up like last time, do you?" Pansy said.

"That caught me off guard," Knight said quickly. "Try it again, and I'll annihilate you,"

"I'd love to see you try," laughed Alya, but Knight wasn't listening. She wasn't even looking at her. Her eyes were set on someone else, someone standing next to Alya. It was Draco.

"Ally... she's staring at me again," Draco whispered, a worried look on his face.

"I-I'm Becca," Knight smiled, holding out her hand to Draco. "You're Draco... right?"

"How does she know my name?" Draco asked Alya.

"My bad," Mattheo admitted. "I might have accidentally slipped up and said your name at the wand weighing last week,"

"Brilliant, Matt," Draco laughed. "What do you want?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Mattheo laughed. "She wants you,"

"Me? What about me?"

"Let's not do this right now," Alya said. "We don't have time, we have to get Star prepared,"

"Are you coming into the tent this time, Draco?" Knight's voice was sickeningly sweet and flirtatious.

"Uh... no," Draco replied, shortly.

"Will you just piss off!" Alya snapped. "We don't have the energy to deal with your weirdness right now,"

Luckily, Madam Maxime appeared from inside the tent and summoned Knight inside.

"Star, remember the spells we taught you?" Alya asked.

"Accio and the conjunctivitis jinx," Star said.

"Great. You're going to be absolutely fine, I promise," Alya hugged her.

"Okay," Star took a deep breath. "I can do this,"

"You've got this, babe," smiled Pansy.

"Yeah, you'll do great," Theo added.

"We should go," Cedric said to Alya.

"Good luck," nodded Alya. "To both of you. You'll be fine too, Ced,"

"Thanks Ally," smiled Cedric. "I'll see you guys out there,"
