Steve ruffled my little brothers hat causing me to laugh a bit we started to get to work

Steve: who's that
He pointed to the ginger next to Lucas I nudged Steve

I walked over to Lucas and hugged him

Y/n: hi I'm y/n Dustin's sister
Max: nice to meet you I'm max

The girl started helping me as we all worked I walked into the bus

I smiled I started to walk out and so did Steve he walked away leaving me and max

TIMESKIP
We sat in the bus I sat across from Steve his bat between us steve was flipping his lighter suddenly max came down
Max: so have you actually fought one of these before
Steve nodded
Max: and you 100% positive it wasn't a bare
Dustin: shit if you don't believe us why'd you even come?!
Max: jeeze someones cranky past your bedtime
She walked back up the ladder
Steve: that was good act like you don't care
Dustin: I don't
Steve winked at my brother

Steve: yup
He winked at me my face turned red Dustin stared daggers into the boy as he winked at his older sister
Dustin: steve why are you winning stop
Dustin walked back up the ladder I started to get nervous my hand shaky

Y/n: hmm?
Steve: your gonna be okay alright?
I nodded and I got up and took a risk I sat next to Steve and laid my head on Steve's shoulder falling asleep his head fell on top of mine for once in a while I felt safe....

Steve pov
Y/n had fallen asleep I smiled a little could I really be catching feelings for this girl I mean she was beautiful and sweet and kind and I feel like I've known her my entire life
Dustin: holy shit
Steve: what
Dustin: I see him

Y/n pov
I felt someone shake me
Y/n: wha- what
Steve: come on
I looked out steve showed where he was
Dustin: why's he not taking the bait?..
Y/n: maybe he's not hungry

Steve got up and grabbed his bat and tossed the lighter to Steve

He pressed his lips to the top of my head and let go he ran a little tear down my cheek

Dustin: expanding the menu
Steve tossed the bat up and caught it again I watched him closely
Max: he's insane
Dustin: he's awesome

I ran next to steve

I hit one with the bar we started running to the bus I fell on top of steve we pushed the metal to the door

Steve pov
Suddenly y/n was next to me great now she's pulling crazy shit I ran over helping her to protect her we ran into the bus she landed on top of me as we pushed the metal to it she got off of me and turned tot he kids

Y/n pov
I herd a loud clang and saw Steve he was pushing a metal piece to the door I pushed the kids to the back of the bus Dustin yelled into the wakitalki
Dustin: HELP WERE AT THE JUNKYARD AND WERE GONNA DIE!
He yelled
Max: AHHHHH
Me and Steve ran to the back of the bus I ran I've read pushed max out of the way Steve ran over pushing me back
Steve: out of the way out of the way!
He yelled I looked and saw Lucas and max holding hands my heart melted they were adorable it also broke knowing my brother liked her then I snapped back to reality
Steve: you want a piece of this!
He yelled the demogordon stopped and hopped off the bus steve started to walk off the bus I found his hand and held it tight
Dustin: maybe Steve scared them off
Steve let go of my hand
Steve: no way there going somewhere
