Me and Steve had a great friendship I was so happy about it dustin was gone for two weeks for summer camp the first week I hung out with the kids but I knew I needed to get a job so I got one at scoops ahoy with Steve I started to realize I had a huge crush on him I mean I didn't wanna believe myself but turns out I do today was my first day I hadn't seen Steve all week actually kinda made me upset he left my outfit in the mail box also Dustin was coming home tomorrow but I was chill

Steve pov
I woke up  and got ready I fixed my hair I was so excited to see y/n she was amazing I got to work
Robin: wow dingus your on time
Steve: yea y/ns coming today!
Robin: that's right
Steve: so your meeting her
Robin: dingus I know I'm not an idiot
Steve: well
Robin: says the one who clearly loves this girl

Robin pov
I didn't tell Steve but I knew y/n I actually had a huge crush on her last year but I didn't look the same so she probably wouldn't recognize me.

Y/n pov
I got to the mall
Y/n: bye mom
Y/m: bye sweetie
I smiled waving to my mom I started walking through the mall holy shit it was busy I walked through the mall and saw scoops I took a deep breath this was it I was going to see Steve I walked in and saw a girl short hair and blonde and brown hair I walked up
Y/n: hi I'm y/n
Robin: I'm robin
Y/n: is-
I got cut off
Steve: Y/N
I looked at Steve in a sailor outfit and hat it was so funny he ran over and picked me up spinning me around
Y/n: put me down Harrington!
I yelled laughing as he set me down he hugged me tight
Steve: god I missed you
Y/n: I missed you too idiot
Steve: only your idiot
My idiot only my idiot I smiled Steve always gave me flashbacks from last year
Steve: you've met Robin right?
Y/n: I just did
Steve wrapped an arm around my shoulder showing me to the back
Steve: you can put your bag back here
Y/n: I know Harrington I'm not that stupid
Steve: oh really your not
Y/n: no
Steve: oh really
He started tickling me as I laughed
Y/n: steve stop it
I laughed steve stopped with a smile and looked at me

Robin pov
Ofc y/n was beautiful smart kind amazing but...she was in love with Harrington
TIMESKIP
Later that day me and Steve were in the back we herd dings
Robin: hey dingus your children are here
We opened the door I saw the four kids I loved I smiled peaking under Steve's arm
Steve: again seriously
Max: WAIT ARE YOU GUYS DATING?!
Max yelled loudly
Y/n: what?!
Steve: n- no...
The kids all gave us looks I rolled my eyes they walked in and to the back
Steve: if anyone hears about this

Steve nodded his head then looked down at me
Steve: you good?
Y/n: mhm
A little later the power went out steve went over and flipped the switch between two fingers
Robin: that's not gonna work dingus
Steve: oh really
He kept flipping it finally turned on
Steve: let there be light
I nodded that night my mom came and got me I stared out the window thinking about Steve
"Your idiot" "only your idiot" "baby"
Y/m: you okay sweetie?
Y/n: yea just thinking
Y/m: wanna talk about it
Y/n: well i don't know...
Y/m: is it about a boy?
I nodded
Y/m: Steve?
I nodded a tear rolled down my cheek
Y/n: it feels lonely without him and we work with this girl she's so pretty I mean
Y/m: yea sweetie I think your just in love
My heart felt broke but okay
Y/m: sweetheart you know what go ahead and stay at his house tomorrow
Y/n: really
My eyes lit up my mom nodded
Y/n: thank you thank you thank you!!!!
My mom smiled I leaned over and hugged her she smiled at me

TIMESKIP
The next morning I packed my extra outfit and grabbed my backpack I packed some makeup and a brush I ran downstairs and got in my moms car
Y/n: thanks mom
Y/m: of course sweetie your brothers coming home tonight anyways
I smiled and nodded we got to the mall I said by the my mom and ran to scoops I ran straight into Steve
Steve: oh sorry gorgeous
My cheeks turned bright red as Steve gave me a smirk
Y/n: hey uhm Steve?
Steve: yea?
Y/n: is it possible that I could stay at yours tonight?
Steve: of course my parents aren't home they left for a business trip again
Y/n: okay
I gave Steve a smile through out the day I kept zoning out the fact that Steve called me gorgeous the moments kept playing in my mind flashbacks playing

y/n: steve clam down
Steve: BABY SLOW DOWN THE CAR
End of flashback
Robin: what are you smiling about
Y/n: it's nothing...
Robin it's something
Y/n: okay well last year there was just all this shit happening I can't share it but I was driving and steve called me baby... and it's just amazing
Robin: you like him?..
Y/n: yeah I guess you could say that
I smiled to myself looking at the boy we walked to the back steve had been trying to find a date it made me frustrated but I didn't show
Steve: Ahoy ladies didn't see you there would you like to set sail on this oceanal flavor with me I'll be your captain I'm steve Harrington
I giggled a little the ladies just nodded
Steve: banana boat anyone
I laughed

TIMESKIP
A little later we all were sitting in the front waiting for people to leave suddenly every breath you take came on
Steve: oh my god it's our song
I smiled as he pulled me in and spun me around then out and in then lifted me up I giggled as he put me down we started to leave we dropped robin off then went to Steve's house we got there
Steve: so what do you wanna do?
Y/n: I have an idea
Steve: and what's that
I smiled and ran and jumped into his pool
Steve: hey wait up!
He yelled and jumped in with me he turned the music in and swam over to me I smiled
Steve: your crazy
Y/n: and your an idiot
Steve: your idiot
Y/n: my idiot
I saw his cheeks turn red as I smiled we got out I took a shirt and sweats we sat down by the tv as he turned it on
Y/n: can we play uno!?
Steve smiled at my kid side and grabbed uno out of the closet and sat across from me we played five rounds I won two he won three we sat on the couch and he turned a movie on
Steve: thank you
Y/n: for what
Steve: for making this night amazing
I smiled and laid my head on his chest and fell asleep
