Me and Steve were in the kitchen with Dustin suddenly we herd a car pull up we ran into the living room
Max: oh shit it's my brother he'll kill me

Steve: yea it's me don't cream your pants

I turned to see max, Lucas, Dustin, mike watching then go down I saw y/n stay exactly where she was

I looked down at my brother he let go I ran over and tried to grab Billy's hand

I put my arm in front of Steve's face as billy hit my arm it hurt so bad suddenly he stopped I held Steve's face in my arms tears flowing down my cheeks

I spoke tears rushing down my cheeks quickly

Y/n: wait dustin ice pack we're bringing Steve

The kids agreed once they saw my face drenched in tears I took the keys from max

We picked Steve up and put him in the car I got in Dustin and mike and Steve in the back max and Lucas sharing a seat a little later I herd Steve

The kids froze from my yell and turned to me

I took his hand in mine he looked down at our hands he nodded I smiled at the boy who's hair was messed up but still beautiful a strand in front of his eyes we got into the tunnels Steve leading the way

It scared me I turned around
Dustin: ITS IN MY MOUTH UTS IN MY MOUTH
I put my face in my palm

I rolled my eyes catching up to Steve suddenly a demo dog was there
Dustin: remember me buddy
Dustin knew it was dart in the moment i quickly grabbed Steve's hand holding it tightly intertwining our fingers

He gave him a three musketeers
Dustin: just let us through
The demo dog let us through as we walked Steve hand undid from mine we lit the pit on fire then walk
Mike: HELP
he was catch on a vine I ran over and Steve hit the vine with his bat suddenly we saw demo dogs
Steve: run!
We ran through the tunnels then pushed max up then mike then Lucas then Dustin me and Steve were down there
Steve: y/n you next
Y/n: but you won't have enough time
Steve: y/n go
Y/n: no!
I looked at steve
Dustin: y/n come on!
Max: steve!
Steve held hit bat up but I couldn't help it I yanked his jacket and wrapped my arms around his neck and put my head in the crock of his neck I could tell he froze soon I felt him put his arms on my waist and his head on mine I felt him press his lips to the top of my head a smile formed in my lips but I felt no pain just demo dog skin I was to scared to lift my head from his neck
Mike; eleven
I kept it there suddenly it stopped I let go of him and we both climbed out of the whole Dustin hugged me tight then mike then Lucas and max I smiled but no one hugged Steve he stood next to the car I got up
Y/n: give me a minute
I walked over to Steve and pushed hair out of his eyes
Y/n: thank you
Steve: for what
Y/n: for protecting me
Steve: you could've died y/n!
Y/n: but I didn't did I
Steve: but you could have!
Y/n: Steve you would've died then
Steve: better one than both
I looked up at the boy
Y/n: Steve I want to die with you
I smiled at the boy a smile perked at his lips
Y/n: come on Harrington let's get out of here
The boy smiled we got in the car and drove back to the Byers we left Billy's car and we walked to Steve's car it was a long walk but worth it we got in me and Steve in the front the four kids in the back we drive to the wheelers and got out walking up we rang the doorbell Nancy answered with Jonathan behind her
Nancy: oh hi...
Y/n: hey we were here to drop Mike off
Suddenly mrs wheeler popped out
Karen: hello! Y/n, Steve. Kiss you all are staying the night well
Max: except me I know
Y/n: max go get in the car
Steve: I can drop her off if you wanna stay here
Steve spoke to me

Nancy: wait but come back please?
I smiled and nodded I followed steve to the car we drove and dropped max off I smiled at her
Max: bye

Steve: bye
Max: LOVE BIRDS!
Max yelled I laughed as her mom opened the door and hugged her I got out and walked up
Y/n: hi I'm y/n Henderson
M/m: hello it's nice to meet you
Y/n: she was with me for the night we had a movie night
M/m: oh okay! Fun
Y/n: yea
M/m: thank you sweetie for bringing her home

I smiled and walked down the steps and got back into Steve's car I smiled at steve he drove back to the wheelers suddenly every breath you take came on
Steve: little dancing?
I rolled my eyes steve turned it up so you could hear it outside of the car he took my hand and spun me around and pulled me back in his arms around my waist I laughed to myself
Y/n: your such an idiot Harrington
Steve: your idiot
A smile spread on my lips and my cheeks heated up my idiot

Nancy pov
I went to open the door to Steve spinning y/n around and dancing with her it made me smile
Jonathan: who would have guessed
Nancy: not me
Dustin: I guessed
Mike: yea their like so protective of each other
Lucas: steve and y/n are practically meant to be
Nancy: oh really
Lucas: yup

Y/n pov
The song started to end and Steve let go of me
Y/n: thank you Harrington
Steve: for you anytime
I smiled at the boy
Steve: I'll let you get back to your friends
Y/n: steve wait
Steve: yea
I wanted to tell him
Y/n: maybe we can hang out sometime again....you know as friends
Steve: I'd like that
I smiled and ran up and hugged the boy he hugged me back I let go and I walked back into the wheelers
