"Cassidy! People." I run out into the main area of the bakery and smile at the customers. They walk over to the case and tell me what they want as someone else walks into the building.
I look up and see Andrew walking over to me with a smile on his face, the people before him pay for their cookies and Andrew stands in front of the counter. He leans over and captures my lips with his, making me freeze at first.
I put my hand on his cheek and kiss him back, he pulls away and rests his forehead against mine. "I hate that we wake up at different times," he whispers and I frown. "I'm not mad. I know you like that you do. I'm not asking you to stop. But on your days off I will hold you until we are both struggling to get out of bed." I give him a small smile.
"You're in luck, I am off tomorrow. But," he gives me a small frown, "I am going out of town, there is a baker's convention in Chicago and I already have my tickets. I bought them six months ago and umm was going to go with Vincent but you see how that turned out." I chuckle a little, and Andrew just glares at the mention of his name.
"Let me come." I give him a confused look, "It will give us time to spend time together. We have both been really busy since we decided to actually give us a try. I mean if you still want to." I smile and nod.
"Okay. I will umm take Dixi to my parent's house and we can leave tonight after I get off. I have to pack but we'll only be gone the weekend." he nods and kisses my forehead again. It's been a few weeks since Andrew and decided to work this out. We have gotten closer but haven't slept together since the night we decided to get together.
We've gone out on a date or two but most of the time we spend together is us inside relaxing after being on our feet all day. Which I am totally okay with, I'd rather spend my time doing something where we can both be ourselves rather than have to go anywhere and talk to people.
"I'll see you at home. I have to get back to work." I smile and nod as he gives me a quick peck on the lips before grabbing the cinnamon roll I grabbed for him off the counter. I'll see you at home. He is our home. He always has been. I shake the thoughts from my head and smile at customers coming into the store.

"Mom?" I call through the house as I let Dixi off her leash. I don't hear a response until I see her blonde hair outside on the porch.
I walk over to the door and open it, Dixi runs outside and Mom looks at me. "Hey sweetie, what are you doing here?" I smile and give Mason and Andrew's Mom a small wave.
"Umm, I should have texted you first but I am a little bit in a rush. I was wondering if you could watch Dixi this weekend. I am going out of town for the convention in Chicago this weekend and I can't watch her." she gives me a confused look.
"What about Andrew?" I scratch the side of my neck and feel my cheeks heat up. "Ahh I see." she chuckles as the rest of the women smile at me. "I'll keep an eye on her. Have fun this weekend okay? Let me know when you get there." I nod and kiss her on the cheek as I turn to walk back into the house.
Chloe walks down the stairs with a box in her hand, "Hey, you." I smile and wave. "What are you doing here?"
"I needed Mom to watch Dixi since Andrew and I are going out of town?" Chloe's eyes go wide and I shake my head. "Calm down, there is a convention in Chicago that I got two tickets to, thinking I was going to go with Vinncent but Andrew is going with me now." she nods. "Are you guys going back to your house?" she nods again and smiles.
"Yeah, I texted you about it." I pull out my phone and nod as read over her message. "When you get back I will show you around the house." I smile and nod as I give her a quick hug making it out to my car.
