Chapter 44

You fell on the floor holding the dress in your hand and started crying. Sweat and tears ran down your face, the moment you saw the dress and it's color. Your hands started trembling and you felt sick to your stomach at the thought of wearing this short dress and going out to a night club in front of numerous men. Definitely you were a modern girl and had a bit of fashion sense but revealing dresses weren't your cup of tea.

Bringing your knees closer to your chest you hugged it and started thinking about your situation and its solutions . First it was your brother and now it's Mrs. Son. They have been continuously threatening you, that they will kill your near ones, if you don't obey them. And right now you had no choice left but to follow their orders for the sake of your closed ones.

Your step dad ditched you for his business rivalry and left you with these monsters on your wedding day and walked away . And your own mother never loved you after your father's death.

It was your brother Lee know who cared for you and now here, its Mrs. Son who  gave you a warm feeling of a mother and a family . She was the only one who talked to you nicely in this mansion and treated you like a human and you cannot let her die because of you.
" I-I w-wont l-let them kill you aunty, Just because of me...!!! " You said to yourself. Wiping your tears ,you looked at all the things that Jeonghan had send for you and then you scanned your room for a while.

A slight chuckle escaped from your lips while looking at those things .

This is it Y/N.!! The Reality of your life....!!! The more you deny it and avoid it...The more it will scare you.!!!

You closed your eyes and started thinking about your life and how pathetic it has become . Everything around you was pushing you towards them, towards your husband and you have no way to escape from them.!!! You took deep breathes to calm down yourself and all the stored tears continued to flow down from your eyes.

Wiping the tears from your eyes you got up from the floor and went inside the washroom to take a shower.
Coming out of the washroom, you started searching for a convertible bra from your cupboard. The one that you always used to have in your wardrobe when you were at home to wear it under party gowns and thankfully you found one in your luggage that you received after coming here.

After wearing the outfit you went in front of the mirror to comb your hair. Your face instantly turned pale when you saw yourself in the mirror. Anger and terror washed over your face , when you saw those purple and red marks on your neck and chest area. You traced those marks with your fingers , remembering the incidents from previous night. You turned your face away from the mirror and scoured the whole bed in search of the makeup kit.

After searching for a while you saw a small box lying at the corner of your bed. You picked up the box with your trembling hands and opened it. Taking out the concealer you started dabbing it on your neck and chest area with your fingers. After completely covering your hickeys you noticed small scratches on your jaws and started covering those scratches with your trembling hands and then you applied it all over your face. Taking out a brush and a makeup palette you completed your makeup by patting a nude shade on your eyes and lips with a brush.
