Your body stiffened, when you felt Jeonghan near you. But your anxiety was soon replaced by a sharp stab of pain shooting through your ankle. You clenched your teeth, struggling to catch your breath.While grabbing your waist with left hand, he puts his other hand beneath your knees and lifted you up.

Jeonghan carried you towards the car, his jaw clenched,as he gazed down at your face.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
Jeonghan snapped,as his pride was wounded by the unconventional turn of events.

After reaching Dubai, he had been doing the complete opposite of what he usually do to you in their Mansion.

Never in his dreams had he thought , he would carry you in his arms or go to the mall and try matching outfits with you.

But for the sake of his father's dear friend, Jeonghan had to swallow his pride and hate and played along.

You shook your head, after you heard what he said.
"Do you think I will trust someone with a face like yours.Don't feign innocence with me," he whispered, settling you into the car seat.

Let's head to the meeting venue, Roy.
Jeonghan ordered.

After arriving at the meeting spot, Jeonghan left you in the car, telling his guards to keep watch over you while he headed to the meeting with Heize and Roy."

You saw Jeonghan walking towards the hotel with Roy and Heize following him.

A sour smile played on your lips as a tear trickled down your face. What was going through your mind, Y/N? You gazed down at your wounded leg, thinking.

He's Yoon Jeonghan-the one who loathes you most in this world.Why would he give a damn about your injury?" Wiping away your stream of tears you waited for them in the car.

You suddenly heard a puppy's yelping and you looked out of the car's window and noticed a puppy lying down on the pavement across the street."

You turned to the guards stationed nearby the car and said Excuse me...!Can I go check on that puppy across the street? You asked, a hint of concern reflected in your voice.

The guards exchanged a skeptical glance. "Mam, Boss has ordered not to let you out of the car ."one of them said firmly.

You looked back at the puppy, still lying on the pavement. "But it's hurt... I wanna make sure it's okay," you requested.

The guards hesitated for a moment before one of them replied, "Okay, I'll go and get the puppy here.You wait over here, Mam.

You nodded happily .Okay...thanks!"

Within a few minutes the bodyguard brought the puppy and placed it outside, near the car.

You suddenly got out of the car with a first aid box , as the guard placed the puppy outside near the car. You rushed over to the puppy, crouching down to check on it. The puppy whimpered softly, a tiny cut on its paw oozing a bit of blood.

You gently took the puppy's paw in your hands, examining the wound. You carefully cleaned the cut with a wipe and dabbed some antibiotic ointment on it. The puppy nuzzled your hands weakly as you worked.

"Poor baby... you'll be okay," you cooed softly, wrapping a tiny bandage around the paw. Unaware of the presence of a person behind you.The puppy looked up at you with big, sad eyes, and you couldn't help but scoop it up in a hug.

"You're safe now."
As you hugged the puppy, still cradling it in your arms, you suddenly heard a voice behind you.

What's going on here?" Jeonghan asked, his tone sharp with anger. He'd arrived at the car without you noticing, probably while you were tending to the puppy's wound.

The puppy was hurt, so I was helping him.You said placing him carefully on the road.

Jeonghan's face twisted in annoyance.
"Do you think I'm running some kinda charity for stray dogs here.!???

That you're wasting my money on treating them.Jeonghan growled.

Would you have said the same thing if it was Rain...!???? You said getting up from the floor .

Jeonghan's fist clenched in anger ,when he heard you mentioning "Rain." He stepped forward and grabbed your jaw, and said, "How dare you compare a street dog with my Rain ."

"A life is a life be it a billionaire's Dog or a street dog. " You replied to him looking into his eyes..

"Ohhh, look at you flashing your guts for a street dog. " Jeonghan mocked.

Looks , like I'm being easier on you nowadays," Jeonghan said digging his nails into your chin.

Roy throwaway this Street dog into the nearest river.Jeonghan ordered.

No...!! Please don't do this....I'll do anything you say please let it go .
You begged him.

Anything....!??? Jeonghan smirked.

Okay...Clean my shoes right here and right now . Jeonghan said looking at his polished shoes.

You hurried towards the car washed your hand and took out a scarf from your bag . Kneeling down on the street you then wiped his both shoes.

Very Good....!! Jeonghan said.Taking a deep breathe, he looked at Roy and nodded, signaling Roy to take the puppy.

Roy getting his Boss order came running and took the puppy in his arms.

"Wait didn't I just do as you wished , then why are you taking him away."You asked shockingly.

You ran towards Roy for the puppy, trying to take him away from him but Jeonghan suddenly held your hand and pulled you back .

Get inside the car..!! We're getting late .!! Opening the car's door he forced you into the passenger seat and he got inside the car too.

"Heize you come with Roy .I'll meet you up at the party . He asked the driver to start the car.

But Jeonghan...!!! Heize was about to say something but the car drove away .

Heize stamped her heels on the road in anger.

Alright.....fineeee..!!! Just wait and watch Yoon Jeonghan ,how I'm gonna make you mine tonight...!! Heize whispered bringing a mischievous smile on her face.
