Shoto dashed downstairs, spotting Uraraka deep in conversation with Iida. Approaching them, he asked, "Have you seen Midoriya?"

Uraraka glanced up, saying, "He went to meet Bakugou."

"I believe Midoriya mentioned he's meeting Bakugou at Harmony Park," Iida added.

With a sense of urgency, Shoto quickly donned his coat. His heart raced. Bakugou was about to learn the truth about the game. What would his reaction be? Would he be angry, feeling betrayed? Or would he be hurt? Lost in thought, Shoto sprinted toward Harmony Park.

Arriving there, he first noticed Kirishima approaching with a displeased expression. Shoto tried to initiate a conversation, "Kiri-", but Kirishima brushed past him without acknowledgment. Confused, Shoto wondered if Kirishima had learned the truth about the dare.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sight of Bakugou. The usually fierce young man had a look of concern. Shoto's heart raced faster and his mouth felt parched. Bakugou's gaze met Shoto's briefly before he began walking past him. Panic setting in, Shoto reached out, grabbing Bakugou's hand.

"Bakugou... I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you about the game. I regret that you had to hear it from someone else."

Bakugou glanced in Kirishima's direction before looking back at Shoto. "Todoroki, it's fine. I suspected something was off from the start."

Shoto blinked in surprise. "What do you mean?"

Bakugou sighed, "I've observed you for a long time, Todoroki. We rarely made eye contact, yet suddenly you confessed feelings for me. I knew something was amiss. That night, in your dreams you apologized, hinting at not using me. It made no sense then, but now I understand the pressure of that dare."

Bakugou took a deep breath, "But, Todoroki, when we were together, it never felt fake. Your smiles, the emotions in your eyes; I felt genuine happiness from you. Maybe I'm just guessing, but... I don't want to be a burden. So Todoroki, I don't want to force anything on you. So, please be honest about how you feel."

As Shoto tried to find his words, Bakugou released his grip, "I need to go. Kirishima needs me." He attempted to leave, but Shoto held onto him.

"Could we... meet at the coffee shop for some icliase later? You once said you'd like that. I have something important to tell you."

Bakugou chuckled softly, "Of course, I'd love that. See you there." As he walked away, Shoto watched until he was out of sight.

Suddenly, a voice from behind him startled him. "Todoroki-kun, what are you doing here? Have you seen M-"

Shoto turned to Midoriya, cutting him off. "Are you busy? We need to talk."

Midoriya shook his head, signaling he was available.
