"Bakugou, wait... I need to talk to you," Todoroki said, hurrying to catch up with Bakugou, who was walking rapidly toward his room.
"What's your problem, Half and Half?" Bakugou shot an angry look at him.
Todoroki, trying to catch his breath, finally spoke up. "Would you like to join me at the cafe tonight? We could enjoy eclairs together."
Bakugou raised an eyebrow, his face displaying a mix of surprise and suspicion. "What's your angle, Half and Half? Do you think I'd come with you to eat sweets? Who do you think you are?" Bakugou growled, clearly irritated. "What's wrong with this guy?" he muttered to himself as he began to walk toward his room. Todoroki reached out and touched his hand, stopping him.
"How about some some training? We could train our quirks together, you know, since..." Todoroki began, but Bakugou interrupted him, his hands glowing with his explosive quirk.
"Hands off, Halfie," he warned Todoroki.
Just then, they heard Midoriya's voice. "Todoroki-kun?" Both of them turned to see Midoriya approaching. Bakugou pushed Todoroki away and wiped his hands on a tissue. He briefly glanced at both of them before walking away.
"kac-"
Todoroki signaled for Midoriya to remain silent, and they watched Bakugou as he walked his room. As he reached his room's door, Bakugou appeared to look around as if checking for anyone watching him. Todoroki sensed something was off and took Midoriya's hand. "Let's go, Midoriya," he said, leading him to the elevator. When they were out of Bakugou's sight, Todoroki stopped, waiting for something to happen.
After a while, they heard the sound of a door closing, and they were fairly certain it was Bakugou's door. Todoroki released Midoriya's hand and approached Bakugou's room. He pressed his ear against the door.
Midoriya followed his friend, understanding what he was doing. He muttered, "Todoroki-kun, it's not a good idea to eavesdrop. He deserves privacy." Todoroki signaled him to be quiet and whispered for him to go away, but Midoriya stayed and started eavesdropping by keeping his ear on Bakugou's door like todoroki.
"Ah, this is soooo boring." They heard a faint female voice from inside. Both looked at each other.
"A girl in Bakugou's room? What's going on?"
"Just endure it, Toga. It's all for our plan, you know." They heard a male voice, but both could tell it wasn't Bakugou's.
"What's happening?" Midoriya whispered.
"How would I know?" Todoroki replied.
The female voice continued, "Acting like Bakugou is a real drag. He's always shouting at others. Today, I had to yell at many handsome boys, even to Uraraka."
They heard a chuckle from the male voice. "Here's more blood, and don't forget to gather more information, alright?"
"Okay, I've got it. Tell me now, what do you plan to do with him?" Todoroki's eyes widened in surprise. It was becoming clear that this was not Bakugou. His behavior had drastically changed since that night he left with Kirishima. Then thats why he acted like he doesnt like ecliars and to train with him. Tododroki felt from the start something was amiss.
Todoroki leaned closer to the door, hoping to gather more information, but then...
Something unexpected occurred.
Midoriya's phone rang loudly, his phone ringintone "tokyo" echoing through the dorm corridor, breaking the silence. Midoriya quickly apologized and fumbled to silence the phone. Todoroki started to panic. Was Bakugou okay? What was happening behind that door? He had no answers, but he sensed something was wrong, and they risked being discovered by the people inside Bakugou's room.
Suddenly, the door swung open.
