CHAPTER 8

CHAPTER 8: Agony

After that mysterious encounter with that lady, Sumire's mother continues to pray, And both midori and I start bowing, And then I felt a presence behind me.

"What is happening..." I said in a low tone, But I doubt that whoever was behind me heard it because the presence was gone.

After The praying ceremony, Sumire's mother began to lead us to the dining area, They were so many food, I was a bit shy and nervous because I haven't eaten on somebodys home before.

"What do you want Yurika? You want chicken or spaghetti?" Midori asked me.

"I'm not that hungry, I'll just hang out outside." I said to midori with a blank expression, She then looked at me and nodding with agreement.

I went outside to get some fresh air.

WHILE INSIDE:

"Midori, Is something wrong?" Shina said, Midori's next door neighbor.

"I don't know, there's just something off about Yurika." Midori replied.

"Talaga ba? What if she's just stressed." Shina then said to her.

"Oo nga, Maybe stressed lang siya. I'll just let her be." Midori then replied.
The Two of them started to talk to eachother. The remaining guests continues on their prays.

YURIKA'S POV

After that, It was about 8PM Midori and I went our separate ways and went home.

While I was walking alone down into a Slightly dark streets. I felt someone was behind me because whenever someone is behind I feel a cold presence.

With Nervousness and tiredness, I looked behind me and there was nobody there.

"What the hell.. I think stressed lang talaga ako." I said, And the strong cold presence got stronger. I felt more uncomfortable by the minute.

My slow walk got a bit faster By the minute. While I walk faster the Cold presence gets even stronger.

Finally after what it felt like walking for hours I reached. By the time I stopped in front of my house the Cold presence faded, I looked behind me and there was no one. That's when I felt like I was really alone in those streets.

After I showered I went back to bed and Slept.

WHILE IN PIPPI'S HOUSE:

After 2 days of the incident Pippi didn't get out of her room ever since.
Her mom tried to reach out to her but she ignores her knocking on her bedroom door.

"Pippi? You haven't eaten like two days already, Are you sure you're alright?" Pippi's mom Lenka says with a worried tone in her voice.

"Just like I said mom! I'm fine! I always ordered food every night! Don't worry!" Pippi said to Lenka with annoyance in her voice.

"Alright Sweetie, Just tell me if you need anything." Lenka said to Pippi and went to her room.

Pippi just stared at her bedroom door crying.

"What do I do... I have done something so unforgivable...." She said with despair and hopeless in her voice.

She then remembers what she did to Sumire that night.

THAT NIGHT

"Seriously? What do you mean I'm gonna get killed? Your just pranking me!" Sumire says in the other side of the phone call and she hangs up.

"Geez, An old man literally said that I'm going to die. Yuck." Sumire said.

While she was walking towards the school entrance, She heard a footsteps.

And she was shocked it was Pippi, she was glaring at her.

"Pippi..? What happened to you..?"
Sumire questioned Pippi with a nervous tone in her voice.

"You ugly witch! I will not take you any step further!" Pippi shouted at her and lunge at her.

Sumire then pushes her away and Pippi hit the glass with the trophy in. The glass then breaks While sumire pushes pippi to it.

Pippi then looks at the trophy and grabs it.

"What do you think your doing...? Stay away!" Sumire then starts running away from Pippi while Pippi is chasing her.

The chasing continues for 2 minutes until Sumire hits the staircase that leads to the school entrance.

"SUMIRE!" Pippi shouted her name.

Before Sumire can even take the first step of the stairs, Pippi grabs her hand  and confronted her.

"Pippi don't do this-" Before Sumire can even finish her sentence, Pippi hit Sumire in the neck using the trophy completely slicing the right side of her neck.

Pippi then grins as blood gets on her face, Sumire then tries to speak but she can't.

"I-I M-M" Sumire tried to tell Pippi but Pippi then pushes her and Sumire fell.

Sumire then fell to the staircase and she rolls down hitting her head, back in the proccess. She fell 16 steps from the top of the stairs.

"You think you can handle me Sumire... You're very wrong... Goodbye..." Pippi then grins as Sumire is laying dead on the ground.

PRESENT TIME

As Pippi lays down on the floor, She then notices someone approaching her from the darkness of her room.

It was Sumire, She then gasped and backs off.

"Why... Did you do that to me Pippi..." Sumire said with a cold and despair tone in her voice.

"Stop!! Get away from me! You're already dead!!" Pippi shouted at Sumire, and sumire get's even closer to her.

Lenka, Pippi's mom heared this commotion and goes to knock on Pippi's door.

"Ano nang nangyayare diyan Pippi? Is everything okay?"

"I'm going to kill you!" Sumire then lunges at her and began to strangle her.

"Ahh- Mhh! Gahh!" Pippi tries to fight back but she can't Push Sumire for some reason, She tries to call her mom but she can't even speak.

After a few moments Sumire then disappears and Pippi stands up and catches her breath, She then cries and screams.

"Pippi, Sabihin mona sakin kung ano ang nangyayare para matulungan kita." Lenka said with a calm voice.

"No, Mom you must not get involve into this." Pippi replied.

" I'll give you some space if you really want to be alone..." Lenka said to her.

"After your dad left... You've been acting really strange.. I know your hurt by this and I know you want to put it on someone the hurt you felt and want to steal their life instead." Lenka said as Pippi continued to cry.

"I love you my sweetheart, I hope you'll get better soon.. I'll get you some food if you want.." Lenka said and left the house to work.

Pippi continues to cry and scream with extreme agony, It seems like the sin she has commited will put a scar in her life forever.

Yurika is asleep but what she don't know, Pippi will be her next Rival.
