Strange Circus

The next day..

Boni woke up, quickly looking around to see if she was back in her room.

"So this is actually happening.. I was hoping this was all just a dream..."
Boni sighed before hopping off the bed.

Mo was nowhere in sight.
Instead, there was a small note on the ground.

Picking it up, she began to read it.

"I'm off to work! Do not leave the room!"

"What work does this guy even do down here..?"
Boni sighed as she sat back on the bed, hugging her knees..

"I wonder if my mom is okay.."

...

Meanwhile in the human world ...

"Johnathon I can't find her anywhere i'm telling you!"
Boni's mother shouted through the phone with her husband.

..

"I-I dont know! She went to take the trash out last night and never came back! What do I do?!"
She cried, speaking to her husband on the phone frantically.
"Yes, I've called the police already! I've received nothing back"
She sobbed.
"W-what if she got kidnapped?!"

..

"My baby.. where are you..?"

...

Boni groaned, resting her arm on her forehead.

Looking down at her sweater, she sighed, trying to rub off the dry mud.
"Why couldn't all of this just have been some weird nightmare that I could've woken up from by now.." Boni grumbled in frustration.

..
"I wonder if there's a shower or something around here.."
She said as she got up and made her way over to the door.

Upon opening the door, there was no demon in sight, so she took the opportunity to look around the strange underground world.

Suddenly Boni could hear the same cheers she heard the day before..

Following the sounds, she made her way towards a huge crowd of demon.
..
An audience..?

Panicking, Boni quickly hid behind a rocky wall, gulping as a cold sweat ran down her forehead.

Boni cautiously peeked her head out from behind the wall as she observed the area.

There were a bunch of demons cheering in front of a ginormous stage.
"This place is like.. some strange looking circus.."
..
Examining further, she was taken aback by how.. eccentric everyone looked.

"Those really are demons.. aren't they..? Not just some.. very well designed costumes..?"
