After the show..

Mo and Boni headed out the circus as he held her hand, feeling ashamed of himself for putting Boni in that situation..

"I'm sorry Boni." He mumbled, afraid of what she would say.

Taking a deep breath, he stopped walking as he turned to face her.
"I ..didn't know.. "
He looked down angrily, clenching his fist.
"..That Lina would act out in such a way.."

Boni looked up at the demon, not knowing what to say.

Boni was clearly hurt over what happened..
After all, she didn't really do anything to deserve getting treated that way.
"Mo.. I could've died."

Mo suddenly pulled Boni in, embracing the girl tightly.
"I'm so sorry. It's all my fault!"
He trembled.

"I should've sensed something was off with her, she's been strange ever since yesterday.."

Boni rolled her eyes.
Since yesterday? More like since I got here..

"So.. She likes you..?" She asked.

Mo looked away, nodding

Boni stepped back, looking down.
The girl's face became hidden within her hair.

Although Boni didn't agree with Lina's actions, couldn't help but feel bad.

Boni knew what it felt like to be in love with someone who didn't feel the same..
A year ago, she confessed to a boy she liked for months.. but he rejected her for someone else..
A new girl, in fact.

"Sorry Boni.. I like someone else.."

"Boni.. I've never liked Lina romantically.." Mo comforted the upset girl.
"When you and I first met.. I felt an instant connection... I've never felt that way with anyone before.."

Boni looked up at the boy, feeling her cheeks heat up.
"Y-You're just saying that.." She stuttered, feeling flustered by his words.

Determined to prove himself, the boy suddenly grabbed her shoulders as he stared into her eyes.
"I'll show you how serious I am.."
He said before pulling her in, pressing his lips against hers with a passionate kiss.
