"Hahaha! You're so stupid!" Boni laughed as the two walked out of the restaurant in good spirits, joking around with one another as they stumbled down the sidewalk.
While walking, Boni suddenly turned to face the boy with a soft smile. "Geez, you're funnier than I thought." She giggled, causing her jacket to slide off her shoulder a bit.
Mo laughed as he reached over to adjust it for her. "You really think so?" He chuckled. "Well, you're not as stubborn as I thought!"
Boni raised a brow at his comment before playfully rolling her eyes. "Anyways.. Let's get home, we've been out for too long. I don't want my mom to worry again."
Mo nodded in agreement. "Y-Yeah!"
As they headed home, a sudden shiver ran down the demon's spine.
Something feels.. Wrong..
Ah whatever, It's probably nothing..

Two days later..
"Boni! Wake up!" Mo whispered loudly, shaking the girl repeatedly.
Boni groaned as her eyes fluttered open. "Huh.. Mo..? What are you doing in my room?!" The girl squeaked, confused as to why the demon was stood by her bed.
It was the middle of the night, and the sounds of crickets could be heard from outside.
.. What do I do.. What do I do..!? The demon's thoughts raced in his head over and over.
Mo's mind just wouldn't shut up, which was causing his lack of sleep. Restlessly, the boy paced back and forth. "I can't sleep! I just.. can't stop thinking about..-"
"The circus?" Boni interrupted, finishing his sentence before slowly sitting up.
The demon nodded, surprised that she knew what he was going to say. "I-I'm worried.. I'm sure they're all aware that i've gone missing .."
.. "So.. You wanna go back..?" The girl asked.
Mo shook his head. "Of course not..! It's just.."
Boni sighed tiredly before pulling the boy in for a gentle hug. "We'll talk about it in the morning.. Okay?"
Mo nodded before hugging her back. Her strawberry and cinnamon scent made the boy feel incredibly comfortable.
Instantly, the boy felt a sudden wave of drowsiness. It was like this girl was his melatonin. -And at that very moment, all he could think about was her..
