Day 6

Before leaving work last night I grabbed 2 cups of ramen and 2 banana milk. When I saw the drink it triggered a memory from my past life. I just had to grab it. I enter the art room and see Jungkook sitting behind a canvas, as usual. I wanted to see if my assumptions were correct. If Jungkook wasn't eating properly.

"Jungkook guess what?" I grin while sitting beside him. He peers over at me with his big, curious, doe eyes.

"I got a job yesterday at the convenience store and the boss gave me these for free" I pull out the ramen and milk. His expression immediately lights up, but he tries to hide it. I slide the goods over to him and he gives me a surprised look.

"That's ok, I'm not hungry" he shakes his head despite the fact he was drooling. Before I could urge him to take the food, a loud rumble is heard. We both went silent for a few seconds. His ears were beaming red. I laugh, finding his reaction adorable, and offer the food to him once more.

He hesitates but accepts the offer "Thank you"

I went over to the cafe that was conveniently close by and pour some hot water into the two cups. By the time I walk back, the noodles were ready to eat! We both break our chopsticks and begin eating, however, the sight of Jungkook eating stops me from tasting the steaming goodness. He practically inhaled the noodles.

Was this a coincidence, or were my assumptions correct?

Either way, I'm so glad I'm nosy and saw that scene outside the art room. I know he would have never told me otherwise. I drop the noodles back into the cup and slide it towards him.

His head perks up. "This is enough for me. You eat it" he says while covering his noodle-filled mouth.

"I just remembered I'm gluten intolerant" I lie while pushing the noodles closer to him. He stared down at the noodles, hesitating.

"If you don't take it, then it's gonna get soggy, and I'll have to throw it away" I shrug. He hesitates once more but takes the noodles and thanks me with a small bow of his head.

Time passed by quickly; it was already 6 pm. I had to use the bathroom, so I let Jungkook know and left. Along my path, I notice someone walking in my direction.

"Hey, Y/n" he grins. I inhale deeply, trying to calm the anger bubbling inside of me. It was Chul.

I force a smile "Joel, right?"

His smile fades away. "Chul" he corrects.

"Ah, right" I nod my head, completely uninterested.

"Are you painting again?"

"Yes, with Jungkook" I respond briefly. His happy expression had completely disappeared now. He looks away for a second while pushing his tongue against his cheek

"I heard you were a new transfer student. How about I show you around the city and we can get to know each other?" he offers.

Dame every second with this guy made me uncomfortable. He seemed so friendly at first glance, but the fact that it was a mask that hid the fact that he was a sick, sadistic little fuck. It made him super creepy.

"I'm good, thanks" I responded bluntly. He raises an eyebrow as if not expecting to be rejected.

"I need to go now" I bow my head slightly and quickly escape the frozen man.

What was his deal?

I really dont want to spend a second with this guy. He sent shivers down my spine. It was best to stay away from him. Once I finished my business, I headed back to the art room. On my way, I see Chul leaving the art room.
