Shit, how did I forget my phone?
After that little incident, I got a call from work asking if I was available to take a shift. I needed the money and I needed to cool my head off, so I decided to take it and left earlier than usual. However, halfway to work, I realised I had forgotten my damn phone.
And, to make my day even better, it started fucking raining!
I didn't even bring an umbrella, so here I am, running through the rain using only my bag to cover my head.
"Finally" I cry in relief once I spot the university gates in the distance. But before I could pass through the gates, I felt a tug. I almost jumped in surprise. I wasn't expecting that. It's only been 10 minutes since I left.
Is this tug really related to Jungkook?
I guess this will be a good chance to confirm my theory. He should still be at the university since it's only 4 pm, and he usually leaves at 6 pm. I run past the university gates and quickly make my way to the art room.
I suddenly felt a jerk. It was stronger than the last tug. I spot the art room. The lights were still on.
Chul wouldn't actually do something to Jungkook in public, right?
The incident with the broken canvas suddenly flashes in my head.
Shit
I get ready to run to the art room, but before I can take another step, Chul walks out and closes the door behind him. Thankfully, he doesn't notice me because he walks in the opposite direction. My heartbeat increased as I sprinted towards the room.
I swing the door open and my heart sinks to my stomach. Jungkook was sprawled on the ground, his head was bleeding, and there were wet footprints stomped into his grey hoodie. I almost screamed at the sight of his blood, but my body moved quicker. I dash to his side and drop to my knees.
"Jungkook!" I exclaim and examine the man. Thankfully, there were no deep wounds. His eyebrow was cut and already had a lump forming.
He pushes himself onto his elbows and grabs his bleeding head.
"Be careful!" I panic while fumbling to pull out some tissue from my bag. I move his hand and gently push the tissue against his cut. He immediately replaces my hand and finally sits up.
"What the hell happened?" I ask while looking around the room. I finally notice his broken canvas, his belongings scattered around the room and his easel on the ground. I was too worried about Jungkook to notice the surroundings. I let out a frustrated sigh. I know it was Chul. That piece of shit! It's all his fault! I help Jungkook off the ground and onto a seat.
"Jungkook, please tell me what happened. I want to help you."
"Nothing, I just fell." he responds bluntly
My fists tighten and my blood boils.
"Why are you lying?! I know it was Chul!"
His head darts up to me and his eyes widen in surprise. I know I had to stop but my mouth kept moving on its own.
"I know that Chul hurts you! I saw him leave the room! Even last time-"
His eyes suddenly flashed coldly at me and he clenched his jaw, cutting me off.
"It's none of your business!" he spits with an irritated tone. "You dont understand anything. You came out of nowhere and stuck your nose where it didn't belong. Please, leave me alone."
