Season 1 Episode 13 - Steal From a Soprano

PREVIOUSLY:
Junior and Tony discovered and Christopher and Brendan's actions.
Brendan opened up to Becca.
Becca was excited for her upcoming ultrasound as Junior ordered the murder of Brendan as Brendan was killed.

At Adam and Becca's house, Adam is sitting drinking a cup of coffee at the kitchen table as Becca walks into the kitchen and Adam asks "Did you get a hold of him?" Becca shakes her head and says "No I've called him five times! I told him repeatedly about this morning. He knew how important this scan is to me" Adam looks sadly to Becca and replies "Look don't overreact, he's probably running late...he'll be here you'll see" Becca rubs her forehead in frustration as she snaps "and if he's not?! I don't wanna go on my own. I can't believe he's done this" Adam replies as he sets his cup down on the kitchen table and says "Look that won't happen, if Brendan doesn't show up I'll go with you" Becca looks taken back as she questions "You would do that?" Adam nods and replies "Yeah, your my Best Friend, I ain't gonna let you go alone. I'll just call my work and tell them I won't be there for my shift today" and Becca smiles "Thanks Ads".

Christopher and Adrianna walk into their house and Christopher shouts "Brendan? You awake?!" Christopher plops himself down on the couch and Adrianna sets down her shopping bags and says "He won't be here, it's Becca'z scan today" Christopher nods as realisation falls upon his face. Adrianna walks towards the bathroom and opens the door and her eyes fall upon Brendan's corpse in the bathtub and she immediately screams. Christopher bolts up and rushes towards Adrianna and he asks "What is it?!" Adrianna shakily palms her mouth as tear streams down her face and she says "Bre-Brendan" Christopher looks in the bathroom and his brown eyes falls upon his Best Friends bloodied naked corpse and his eyes fill up with tears.

Becca and Adam are sitting in the waiting room and Becca stares in a trance as Adam looks to Becca and nudges her and asks "You okay?" Becca breaks out her trance and looks to her Best Friend "Yeah I'm fine, I'm just pissed at Brendan. Maybe my Dad and Mom was right, maybe he's just a player. When I get my hands on him, I'm gonna kill him" Adam sadly looks to Becca and a midwife steps out into the waiting room and calls out "Rebecca Soprano?" Becca looks to Adam and asks "Can you come in with me?" Adam softly smiles at Becca and simply nods and says "Of course" and Rebecca stands up and walks towards the MidWife and Adam stands up and follows his saddened Best Friend.

Back at The Sopranos House, Tony is sitting at his kitchen table eating a slice of toast as Christopher barges into the house and Christopher says panicked "Tony! Tony!" Tony turns and looks to Christopher and asks "What's the matter Kid?" Christopher says sadly "It's Brendan, he's been shot...he's dead" and Tony's face falls and he says "Well maybe you both shouldn't have stolen from Junior" Christopher gasps and he asks "Wait, you knew?" Tony simply nods. Christopher says angrily "What the fuck Tone?! They almost killed me!" Tony says with a shake of his head "That wouldn't have happened, I told Junior not to kill ya, Brendan wasn't so lucky. That's what happens when you steal from a Soprano, you both should've known better!" Christopher stands in shock for a moment and after a moment says "What about Becca? Brendan was having a baby with her!" Tony abruptly stands up and points a finger in Christopher's face and says "You don't say a word to her. Becca can never know the truth about Brendan, it would break her heart, if you tell her I'll kill you myself you hear me? As far as she knows Brendan got killed, nothing else you understand?" Christopher looks at Tony with fear and says "Alright I won't breathe a word" and Tony nods and says "Good".

Adam's car drives into The Soprano Residence and he stops the car outside the large house. Adam looks to Rebecca and says "At least the scan went okay" Rebecca nods and says "I just don't understand it, Brendan and me are in love, so why wouldn't he show up at our baby's scan, he knew how important today was, maybe I didn't mean as much to him as he did to me" Rebecca lowers her head and stares down at her flat stomach. Adam sadly looks to his Best Friend and replies "Hey look try not to think of the worst, maybe he got caught up in something. He'll call you, just you wait and see Bex" Rebecca smiles "Yeah you're probably right" and Rebecca opens the car door and gets out of the car as Adam gets out of the drivers side and they both slam the drivers and passengers side car door shut. As Rebecca and Adam walk up to the house, Rebecca dogs deep into her handbag and takes out her ultrasound scan picture. Adam walks into the house followed by Rebecca, Tony, Carmela and Christopher are standing in the living room and look to Rebecca sadly and Rebecca looks at her Family's troubled faces and asks "What's going on?" Carmela steps forward and says "Why don't you sit down Sweetie?" Rebecca and Adam both share a worried look and Rebecca looks back to her Family and asks "No I don't want to sit, I wanna know what's wrong?" Tony sadly looks to Rebecca and says "I'm so sorry to say this to you Princess, but it's Brendan" Rebecca tenses up and asks "What is it? Has something happened to him?" Tony says "He was shot, he's dead" and Rebecca stumbles back in shock and she says in denial "No, he can't be" Christopher says "It's true, I'm sorry Becca" and Rebecca eyes fill with tears as she suddenly hysterically cries and falls to her knees and wails and Tony rushes to her side and crouches down to her level and cradles her and soothingly says "It's okay, I got ya Baby Girl" as she cries in Tony's arms and Carmela and Christopher and Adam look to Rebecca in sadness.
