An explosion rocked the room that there were in all of the three jedi got up and took out their lightsaber.
'' what was that. '' Oren asked just as Obi Wan asked.
'' what happened? ''
Master qui - gon closed his eyes and then opened them.
'' there destroyed our ship " he told the two younger Jedi.
Oren then hared a sound coming from the door.
'' gas " Obi Wan said quickly.
'' of course, " Oren thought as he held his breath, he come thinking that this was going to be boring, but this negotiation Was anything but.
On the bridge Nute and Rune Hakko watched the screen as the battle droids marched into the conferences room
" There must be died by now but make certain it " Rune said.
As the battle droid wear about to March in when the to the conference room but stopped when TC-14 came out
" Oh, I am sorry " he said as he had come out with his hands out in the air. The battle droids looked at each.
There were about to go in again when there head a noise and lights of the Jedi lightsaber could be seen dimly in the fog.
Qui-gon ,Obi wan and Oren all slashed the battles droids they all rushed off to find the others.
In the bridge Nute and Rune began to worry
" What in the blaze is going on down there? 'Nute asked.
" Have you ever encountered a Jedi Knight before sir" Rune asked.
"Well, not exactly, but I don't...''Nute started but then panicked.
" Seal of the bridge" he yelled.
" That won't be enough sir " he said.
the doors of the bridge shut close.
''I want destroyer droids up here at once!!!'' Nute yelled out.
"We will not survive this. '' Rune told him.
meanwhile Qui-gon cut down several Battle droids as did Oren they managed to Obi was raised his hand, sending several Battle droid crashing into the wall. Qui-gon makes his way to the bridge door and begins to cut through it.
On the bridge the crew is very nervous as sparks start flying around the bridge door. they could see Qui-gon, Obi-wan and Oren on the view screen.
''Close the blast doors!!!'' Nute yelled.
The huge, very thick blast door slams shut, followed by a second door, then a third. There is a hissing sound as the huge doors seal shut. Qui-gon stabs the door with his sword. The screen goes black as a red spot appears in the center of the blast door.
" They still coming though." Rune Yelled
''On the door, chunks of molten metal begin to drop away.
''Impossible!! This is impossible!! '' Nute yelled.
''Where are those destroyer droids?! '' Rune asked.
In the hallway Ten ugly destroyer Wheel Droids roll down the hallway at full speed. Just before they get to the bridge area, they stop and transform into their battle configuration. Qui-gon can't see them but senses their presence.
"Destroyer droids!'' Qui-gon yelled.
" Well, this has been some fun negotiation" Oren said.
Obi wan scoffed "Offhand, I'd say this mission is past the negotiation stage. ''
'' No really, I must have not realized that between the droid trying to kill us and us fighting them. of course, we are past the negation stage." Oren replied.
Obi wan rolled his eyes at what Oren said gave him a look which Oren smiled at him. Qui-gon shook his head the two younger jedi. the two have formed a bound over the time that there were put together though Oren was a few years younger than Obi -wan, the two jedi where good friends.
The Wheel Droids, led by P-59, rush the entry area from three hallways, blasting away with their laser guns. They stop firing and stand in a semi-circle as the smoke clears. Obi -wan and Qui-gon and Oren are nowhere to be seen.
''Switch to bio...There they are!'' P-59 said.
The Jedi materialize at the far end of the hallway and dash through the doorway that slams shut. The Wheel droids blast away at the three Jedi with their laser swords.
''It's a standoff! Let's go!'' Qui- gon said.
Nute and Rune stand on the bridge, watching the view screen as the Wheel Droids ' POV speeds to the doorway.
"We have them on the run, sir...they're no match for destroyer droids.'' Rune said.
''Sir, they've gone up the ventilation shaft. '' tey how said.
Qui-gon and Obi -wan appear at a large vent in a giant hangar bay. They are careful not to be seen. Thousands of Battle droids are loading onto landing craft.
''Battle droids.'' Qui-gon said.
'' It's an invasion army.'' obi wan said.
"It's an odd play for the Trade Federation. We've got to warn the Naboo and contact Chancellor Valorum. Let's split up. Stow aboard separate ships and meet down on the planet. " Qui- gon said.
''You were right about one thing, Master. The negotiations were short.'' Obi - wan said.
" Very short and not boring at all'' Oren added.
Obi wan and Qui-gon shared a looked then and let out a low laugh at Oren committed. Qui-gon got up to move but not before ruffing Oren hair as he did. Oren wasn't not a youngling anymore, but he still had a lot to learn.
In the bridge Nute and Rune got a transmission
" It's Queen Amidala herself.'' Rune said
''At last we're getting results. '' Nute said
On the view screen, Queen Amidala appears in her throne room. Wearing her elaborate headdress and robes, she sits, surrounded by the Governing Council and Four Handmaids , Eirtae Yane, Rabe, and Sache.
Next to the Queen sat Princess Ariyah Barclay of Mandera algo with her two handmaids Inna and Affra. ever since they found Naboo Ariyah made it her second home even when it was safe to go home to Mandera Ariyah choices to stay in Naboo, she and Padme had become good friends and when she was elected to be Queen Padme asked Ariyah to be in her council.
Ariyah could feel the tension as the queen talked to the viceroy.
"Again, you come before me, Your Highness. The Federation is pleased'' Nute said.
"You will not be pleased when you hear what I have to say, Viceroy...Your trade boycott of our planet has ended.'' Amidala said.
''I was not aware of such a failure.'' Nute said
''I have word that the Senate is finally voting on this blockade of yours. '' Amidala said.
''I take it you know the outcome. I wonder why they bother to vote.'' Nute told her.
''Enough of this pretense, Viceroy! I'm aware the Chancellor's Ambassadors are with you now, and that you have been commanded to reach a settlement. '' she said
''I know nothing about any Ambassadors... you must be mistaken.'' he told her
Amidala, surprised at his reaction, studies him carefully.
''Beware, Viceroy...the Federation is going too far this time. '' she told them
''Your Highness, we would never do anything without the approval of the Senate. You assume too much.'' he said
'' We will see. '' she told them as the Transmisson finished.
Ariyah shared a quicky look with Padme something wasn't right here.
