It's been a few weeks since my interaction with Steve, because I haven't seen him since that morning. He doesn't seem to do his morning runs anymore, Sasha keeps reminding me that I fucked up and lost my chance to and I quote 'ride that dick like a BMX', will doing the motion of riding a horse and making a weird face while doing it. But I still don't think he was flirting with me and was just having a friendly chat with me, so maybe it was a good idea that I haven't seen him since then so I can get over this silly little crush and move on for two main reasons...

One, because was he even into men?

Two, because even if he was, who said I was his type!

So today was the first day that I didn't have to wake up  early for my run in hopes of bumping into him again and was actually able to sleep in. And best believe I slept in as much as I could before work, and then I quickly got dressed because I kind of over slept. I had to get dressed up more today because I have a couple of the support groups today, so I picked out a white shirt, black slacks and nice shoes. I walked into the kitchen to see Sasha standing over by the cooker and the smell of what she was cooking finally hits me. "Oh smells delicious"  I grabbed my briefcase from the couch because I was doing paperwork last night while watching trash reality shows with Sasha.

Sasha turns around to say something until her eyes land on my outfit, "Oh someone's looking sexy today, you sure you're not into girls" she says in a flirty tone while batting her lashes. "If Mr.  USA saw you like this, he wouldn't have ghosted you" she tells me before turning back around to the cooker. "He didn't ghost me because we weren't anything" I tell her getting a bit annoyed because she won't drop it. "I'm over him anyway" I continue walking over to the kitchen island, "Oh so you didn't have any dreams of him last night" she turns again giving me a look, "No" I tell her, but I did but she didn't need to know because I wouldn't hear the end of it.

"I won't even see him again" I say while she brings over the pan that she was cooking with to reveal that she was making pancakes. "Well, not with that energy, life works in many ways" she tells me putting a pancake on my plate, "You have to really want it, to get it" she says booping my nose with the spatula giving me a smirk in the process. Thankfully she drops that topic and I enjoy having my morning talk with Sasha without being interrogated, well less than if we were talking about my feelings for Steve, who I'm over. We finished breakfast and I cleaned up since Sasha made it before grabbing my stuff and heading for the door. "I'll see you later" I called out to Sasha from the front door, who had already gone to her room to catch up on sleep.

"Thing is.. I think it's getting worse" Wendy begins to tell the group, it was my last support group of the day and we were all sitting in a circle. We were at the part where I opened the floor for anyone who wanted to share a story about their week. I do this for multiple reasons but the main two reasons are so they have a space that they can share things and don't feel judged about it. And the other is that they can hear other's stories and they can see that they aren't alone and that others are going through it too and they can support each other.

"No, I know it's getting worse" she continues to say with everyone's full attention on her because it was Wendy's time to share. "A cop pulled me over last week. He thought I was drunk but I swerved to miss a plastic bag... I thought it was an IED" She finished telling her story and I could see with everyone's reaction that they all had the same situation or something like that. I was thinking about what I would say that I didn't even notice the visitor that was now standing at the door. "Thank you for sharing Wendy" I told her with a supportive smile, this was Wendy's first meeting so I had to make sure she felt supportive and that she could come back.
