Percy's pov
Things were finally starting to look up. Percy had been reunited with his girlfriend Annabeth after her insane quest that she went on alone. His friends were currently in a state of awe as Annabeth told her story of how she retrieved the Athena's Parthanos.
They were in such awe they didn't even notice that the statue was about to fall into the pit that supposedly was supposedly went to Tartarus. Percy panicked and almost dropped Annabeth. He handed her to Leo who was very confused. Then the statue fell off the edge.
Percy did something dumb and jumped in after it. Hey, he wasn't about to let his girlfriend's hard work go to waste. He closed his eyes and felt a tug in his stomach. The same tug he got every single time he used his power way to much. But he was confused. What on Gaea was he controlling.
The tugging hurt so much worse when he concentrated. But he focused as hard as he could. Which was very hard for him sense he had ADHD. He focused so hard he didn't notice the statue hurling towards him.
Annabeth pov
Annabeth thought she was going crazy. Had her seaweed brain just jumped into the pit? She looked at her friends and judjing by the shock, fear ,and confused expression on their faces she concluded she was not in fact crazy. Annabeth felt terrible because she didn't care. Mabye she was just to numb to comprehend what had happened. Or maybe she just didn't understand what she had just seen.
Then she noticed it. Something she should have noticed way earlier. The great Athena's Parthanos was gone. Was that why Percy had jumped in to save the statue? Her mind was racing to fast to make the connection. Then she saw the statue coming back up along with Percy and water. Where the water had come from Annabeth didn't know, but right now that was the least of her problems.
Percy had some how retrieved the statue but got knocked out in the process. And he was currently rolling into the put. Annabeth shrieked as her friends jumped into action a second to late and Percy still unconscious rolled into the pit."
So this is my very first fan fiction i published so I'm sorry if the first chapter is to short.
