Now before i start this chapter I wanted to say I felt kinda bad that the last one was so short so this one is very long so enjoy.

Annabeth pov

Annabeth was keeping her ground against the giant she and her friends were fighting. Then she heard the ding. It had been three weeks since Percy had fall into Tartarus and it had been hard without him. She and her friends decided it would be wise to stay in the water when the were on the ship. But without Percy that was hard. When she heard the ding she turned around to see Percy laying on the floor bleeding out and blue.

She looked at Piper who was in the other side if the room and she gave her a thumbs up. As if to say "Go we can handle this on our own." At least thats what Annabeth hoped she said because she wouldn't listen to anything else. She ran to Percy dropping to her knees. She pressed her hands down on his wound to apply pressure on it. Then she leaned down to listen to his heartbeat.

It was faint but thank the gods it was there. She quickly ran to Leo and told him to quickly take off his shirt. Leo was confused but did as she asked knowing not to question her. She ran back to Percy and gently sat him up against a rock. She wrapped the shirt around his torso removing the shirt he had wrapped around it already.

Then she heard a big explosion behind them and covered Percy. Before she knew it all her friends were standing next to the two of them. Jason kneeled down to check Percy's pulse. He breathed a sigh of relief. "We need to get him back to the ship quick." He said. Annabeth tried and failed to lift him up, so Jason picked him up for her.

He looked at Piper and mouthed "Sorry." Then he launched into the sky. Then Nico told everyone to grab on and shadow-leaped them to the Argo. Annabeth wasted no time and ran to the infirmary. Jason had already put Percy on a bed and was working on cleaning his wounds with nectar and force feeding him ambrosia.

Annabeth set to work on other wounds he had. Once they were sure he was in good shape and he was resting comfortably they left to give him time alone. When Annabeth walked out of the infirmary soon after Jason, Piper and Hazel  hugged her. All she could do was hug them back. She was so happy yet she was worried.

Percy was in terrible shape and was on the verge of dying. She handed Leo his shirt and he sighed. "Really? Why my shirt." Annabeth shrugged. "I don't know you were the closest boy." Leo just looked sadly at his shirt. "Dude it's just a camp half-blood shirt. You could get another one for free back at camp." Piper said. Leo smirked "Oh yeah." Everyone but Annabeth laughed.

She turned to look at Percy when she noticed something. He was awake crying gently. She walked in closing she door behind her. She walked over to him and hugged him gently. He leaned into her touch and started sobbing softly. Annabeth just held him against her letting him cry.

He still crying looked up at her and said, " Im sorry." Annabeth confused said " For what?" "I should be stronger than this." Annabeth was flabbergasted. "Percy," she said softly " You literally fell to Tartarus and getting knocked out-" "That's my point," He cut in "I should have been able to get back the statue without getting knocked out." Annabeth gently rubber his jet black hair. "If we're playing that game we should have been able to help save the statue."

Percy sighed knowing he couldn't argue with that. Or maybe he didn't have the energy. He just rested his head on her shoulder and fell asleep. Annabeth smiled and continued rubbing his hair. Before she knew it she was asleep to. When she woke Percy was still asleep. She looked at his wounds and was sad they hadn't gotten any better.

In fact, they looked like they were getting worse. She made a mental note to keep an eye on that as she carefully got up. About fifteen minutes later Percy woke up. "Hi." He said cheerfully. Annabeth smiled at him. "Hey." Then Percy's face turned serious, "I want to get up." Annabeth sighed. "I don't know if that's a good idea." "Please?" He said giving her those baby seal eyes he always give her. Annabeth sighed and agreed.

She walked over to Percy to help him up when he said "No! I can do it myself." Annabeth sighed, but stayed back. Percy slowly turned around and pit his legs on the floor. He then pulled himself up and almost collapsed but he caught himself. Then Percy took one careful step then another and another.

He walked over to Annabeth and kissed her on the lips. He smiled that trouble maker smile that had become endearing. They stood there for a second just enjoying each other's company. Then the breakfast bell rang and Percy said, "Ready for breakfast wisegirl?" Annabeth nodded not realizing how much she missed the nickname.

He grabbed her hand and lead them down the hallway. But Percy seemed off. Before Annabeth had time to ponder the matter the two of them were greeted by their friends. "Hey Perce." Jason said a little surprised Percy was up already. "How are you feeling." Percy shrugged. "I have been better but I have also been worse." Annabeth smiled sadly knowing that this was true.

Annabeth couldn't shake the feeling that would change to its never been harder. Percy looked at her like he had the same thought. Once she and her friends had finished eating everyone stayed on the deck but did different things. Leo messed with festus, Piper and Hazel practice sword fighting . While Jason and Frank watched.

Annabeth decided that it would be a good time to change Percy bandage wrapped around his torso. She asked him to take his shirt off while she went to get the bandages. When she got back his shirt was off and he was waiting for her. She couldn't help but notice that he looked more muscular.

Unwrapped the bandage, but was quickly drenched in blood. She called to Jason frantically and he ran over. "Is this normal?" She and in a panic. Jason looked scared, "No!" He said quickly. He grabbed Percy about to ask him a question but Percy passed out before he could. Annabeth shrieked and Jason started to cry softly. Their friend looked at them like they were crazy.

Nico came up on the deck. He looked confused. "Why does it feel like someone died?" He asked. Then he saw it. He and the rest of their of their friends ran over. Jason took a deep breath and then through Percy overboard into the water. Annabeth looked at him like he was crazy. He mouthed trust me then pointed behind him.

Percy threw himself onto the deck. He stood up shaking. Annabeth ran over to him and hugged him sobbing into his chest. He hugged her back telling her he was okay. "Oh Percy," she said sadly "you're so pale." Percy just held her closer. "I know." He whispered into her hair. "But Im okay." "Are you?" She asked. He smiled but not enough to show he dimples he had.

"I'm just tired. So I'm going to go lay down and take a nap." He turned to Jason "Thanks man." "No problem." Jason replied. Annabeth grabbed his hand before he could walk away and he turned to her. He smiled and pulled her into a gentle kiss. They pulled away and looked at each other. Then Percy walked away. She could be okay with the fact that she still loves her... for now.
