Percy's pov
When Percy woke up he was falling. Wait he thought why am i falling? Then he remembered everything. He remembered being reunited with Annabeth. He remembered the statue falling into the out pit and he remembered saving it. Then something odd happened. He saw something appear in front of him.Is that an iris message. How had an iris message just appear.
He decided he would question it later on. "Hello?" He asked eerily. " PERCY! Can you here me?" Wait is this Annabeth? He thought " Yes I can hear you but how?" " I really don't know." Annabeth said to Percy's disappointment. "Perce!" Leo called from the background. "Whatcha doing?" Percy rolled his eyes." Oh you know just falling to what will probably be my death." He said sarcastically forgetting Annabeth was listening. He heard her let out a muffled sob and instantly felt bad.
After a moment Percy said "Does this pit really lead to Tartarus? If so...Im... not sure I can survive it alone." "Hey," he heard Jason call from somewhere behind Annabeth. "don't say that. You're the most powerful demi in millennia Perce. If anyone can survive Tartarus it's you." Percy wanted to believe it, he really did but Tartarus is just to hard. He had seen Nico after two weeks in Tartarus and he had been taken out. That might not happen to Percy.
"Yeah Percy you can do this. It might be hard but your'e Perseus Jackson." Said Hazel "Savior of Olympus" added Piper. "Slayer of Polybotes." Frank piped in. "Surviver of the Labyrinth." Said Leo "And the worlds kindest, most loyal, and loving person I know." Finished Annabeth. Percy appreciated his friend, but it was hard to believe them. "Don't believe us huh!" Nico asked. Percy nodded. Nico chuckled "Percy I have been down there myself and it will be the hardest thing you will ever do...but I believe in you." "Well all do" said Jason with the biggest grin. Percy was still doubtful but he decided to trust his friend judgement.
"Thanks guys." He said swiping through the message. "I will make it out of here," he said to himself "I swear it in the river of stix."
