The annoyance of his phone constantly beeping set Yoo In Seong off. He was sitting on the edge of the roof of his apartment complex. One leg was dangling off the edge of Green Home while the other was safely on the opposite side, toe of his shoe brushing against the floor. Green Home was 15-stories – and Inseong had thought about jumping off on more than one occasion.
In Seong tilted his head back, resting it against the building. He blew smoke into the air while his hand dangled off the side of the building along with his right leg. The cigarette was freshly lit while the box of cigarettes sat between Inseong's legs, along with his phone. It buzzed with another text message from his former group member – they wanted to get together and celebrate the failure of their group.
In Seong wasn't in the mood fo drink with his former group members. Honestly? In Seong didn't want to leave the apartment complex at all, however, he had a shift at the local convenience store. In Seong had to pay his rent some-fucking-how, but at the same time, In Seong just wanted to drink until he was black-out drunk and pass out on his own apartment floor.
In Seong brought the cigarette to his lips, letting his teeth bite down on it. He lifted his phone up to see what was going on on Line. Inseong unlocked his phone, seeing the messages back and forth between the three other guys he once considered his brothers.
It had been a year.
A fucking year when Inseong felt like his life was over.
All because of netizens who had no fucking clue how wrong they were. And now, Inseong was blacklisted for the announcement he was forced to make. His forced announcement caused the entire group he was in to disband after he was kicked out. It was brutal for all of them, but Inseong took it the absolute hardest.
Unlike the three others, they weren't blacklisted like In Seong. They were able to have careers unlike Inseong.
But God forbid In Seong preferred men over women. Hell must be waiting for the day In Seong dies to be "cured of his sins," - the words of his own mother. His father even called him a bastard after the news broke. Unsurprisingly to Inseong, he expected those responses from his parents, even his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. He expected all that the moment he felt comfortable with telling them about his sexuality.
He didn't get the chance to actually do it on his own, he was forced by his company because of rumors he got some actress pregnant.
Which was impossible, for multiple reasons.
One: In Seong and this actress never interacted, not once. How the rumor started, In Seong still couldn't figure it out. It was a mystery to every party involved. They both denied the rumors, but netizens weren't pleased until there was an official press conference. Or a fucking tear-stained apology letter.
