Yeong Ho promised to take Jin Hee to In Seong. He didn't have much of a choice with Seok Chan's demands. Jin Hee and Myeong walked slowly after Yeong Ho, not saying a word. Jin Hee still wore Mr. Kang's jacket – she tried to give it back to Sergeant Kim, but he refused to take it away from her. Seok Chan gave it to her for a reason, he would respect it.

Following the sergeant wasn't easy, considering he was going paths that were harder to get through. And at one point, the three of them heard something. Yeong Hu led them towards the sound. As they entered one of the rooms, Jin Hee saw the words painted on the wall. Jin Hee heard the word neohuman before, it was something about the next step for humans. Instead of turning into a monster, they'd turn into neohumans. Jin Hee didn't hear much else, everyone thought she was too young to understand what they were talking about.

Yeong Hu shined the flashlight onto the warnings on the wall. "That's... concerning." Myeong commented. "And cult-like."

Jin Hee crossed her arms. "I wouldn't be surprised if the people here considered us a cult." Jin Hee shivered in the cold room.

Suddenly, Yeong Hu moved quickly. He pointed the flashlight towards someone who was in the room with them. Myeong pushed Jin Hee behind him – the man didn't look like he was doing well. Yeong Hu took it upon himself, stepping closer to the man. When the man realized that someone was shining a flashlight on him, he lifted his head up slowly. Jin Hee made a face at the state of his own face.

"Please kill me." He spoke. He started to reach out to Yeong Hu, gesturing to the gun in his hand. The man lowered his head back to the wall, eyes falling closed.

Myeong swallowed hard. "I've never seen anybody look like that." Myeong commented. "He looks deformed, and like he stepped into fire." Myeong looked back at Jin Hee. "Does he look familiar?"

Jin Hee shook her head. "I've never seen him before." There was something about him that Jin Hee found familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on what it was. She looked towards the wall, seeing the vines and what looked like blood. Jin Hee wondered if he was one of those neohumans – she couldn't be sure.

"We're taking him with us." Yeong Hu said.

"He looks like he's on the verge of death, he's asking for death." Myeong pointed out.

"Let's take him." Jin Hee said. She felt drawn to him – she couldn't explain it, but she felt protective. "We need to take him with us." Myeong looked at Jin Hee, giving her a confused look.

Myeong was impressed with Sergeant Kim, he carried the stranger alongside him while in the wilderness outside of the hospital. Myeong was behind Jin Hee, making sure she didn't misstep as they climbed up the hill. Jin Hee ran to the jeep, getting into the back with the stranger. Myeong got into the passenger seat.
