Allison's POV

Waking up the next morning, I was happy when I don't feel like emptying my stomach. I still had an uneasy feeling in my gut, but at least didn't puke. Seeing that I was alone in bed, I quickly got dressed to see Isaac. But like the day before, any clothes being too tight on my skin made me cringe, so I opted for a simple robe for the time being. Getting dressed was a task for later.

I noticed strange noises coming from downstairs, so that's where I headed. I wouldn't have to search for long, quickly finding men installing some devices by the front door. When they see me, they quickly nod their head. "Mrs. Moretti." They greet me, but I was caught off guard, so I only waved in surprise. Entering the living room, I found more people working on cameras and installing cables on the ceiling. "Mrs. Moretti." They also greet me.

At least this time I manage a good morning myself. Who were these people. "Isaac?" I call out, heading into the kitchen, only finding the staff working on breakfast. "Morning, everyone." I greet them. "Have you seen Isaac by any chance?" they all shake their head but tell me that breakfast will be ready soon. I then head over to the living room, finding more workers there. "Good morning! Have you seen my husband?" I ask, but they all nod their head in the same direction. I turn around and find Isaac walking towards me with a death glare pointed at the workers. When he wraps his arms around me, I watch the workers quickly leave the room, leaving us alone.

"Did you just call me your husband, baby?" He smirks down at me before pressing a short kiss to my lips. His words make me smile. I did. I called him my husband and I have to say, it felt very nice.

"I did." I smile up at him, feeling so much better than the days before. I believe the stress of being away from him made my pregnancy symptoms worse. Our little baby probably missed his dad. "Do you mind telling me what's happing here today?" I point at all the tools laying on the ground and holes in the ceiling.

"I'm having a better security system installed. Noone's getting in or out without me knowing." He looks proud of his idea before turning serious again. "Do you mind telling me what you're doing down here dressed in- this?" he assessed my bathrobe, clearly not happy with it.

"I didn't feel like getting dressed. The fabrics annoy me." I shrug, not knowing how to explain this to him. "These pregnancy symptoms are weird, but at least I didn't throw up this morning." He wasn't happy about that either.

"We're seeing a doctor today." He states and I was very happy about it. "Now, we're having breakfast. Come on." We sit down at the larger table and my mouth waters at the sight of all this food, but the thing that gets placed in front of me, nearly makes me puke. "Drink up." Isaac tells me, protectively standing behind my chair.

"What is that?" I look up at him with a disgusted face. The green liquid looked nothing like those fancy green juices you see in ads all the time. This was horrible.

"A smoothie. It contains all the vitamins you need to stay healthy and for the baby to develop perfectly." To make it look more appetizing, he places a straw in the tall glass, but simply smelling it was enough to make me gag.

"I'm going to puke just smelling that again." I tell him and push it away from me. I wasn't picky when it comes to food, but this was clearly not drinkable.

"It's not that bad. Drink up." He orders.

I didn't drink the juice, but I made Isaac try it before me and he could barely hide his disgust. So the discussion was over after that and I enjoyed a croissant with two larger glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice. It was so delicious, I didn't even care that I threw it all up twenty minutes later.
