Freedom! Can this get any better? I can't believe it! I'm out on my own, and no one knows I'm gone! The first place I go is Israel. I want to see where it all started. Upon arriving I' m faced with the realization that humans lived in small, cramped places without food or light or water. Then, in the middle of my realizing this, I am engulfed in a strange shadow. It is dark, all-consuming, and very wild. The shadow is sprawling off of three figures. When I get a better look, I see a plump, round girl with piercings and a strange haircut. Mine is so simple; light brown hair, blue eyes, and fairly standard features. the second figure, a boy, around 14 I suppose, is next to her. He has blue hair and red eyes, definitlely a demon. The third figure appears to be around my age. He is tall and muscular, with slightly curly blonde hair and midnight blue eyes. He is the most beautiful creature I have even laid my eyes on.

He smiles at me, odd for a demon, but he has a sweet, genuine smile. It makes me smile and giggle a little. The girl says with a raspy voice,"Well, do we get to know it's name?". The young boy answers,"Maybe if we don't move it won't see us". It takes me a minute to realize that they are talking about me. "Excuse me? I'm not an 'it'! I'm less of an 'it' than you people". The girl snaps back with a calm voice,"Do your worst, angel. We've been through worse times than an angel poking fun at us"."Calm down Rachel!" The gorgeous boy said. "What's your name, angel?" he said. I thought for a moment before resonding. Should I tell them my name, or should I fly away? "Faith." I say. "What are your names?". The gorgeous boy says, "My name is Asher", he points to the younger boy,"His name is Jake, and her name is Rachel", he says pointing to the girl. "Where did you come from Angel? Are you lost, or something?" says Jake. He says this in a rude way, but I'm not very offended. He is a demon after all. "No, I escaped the heavens to feel the freedom of the earth", I say. "Wow", says Asher,"I've never seen an angel so confident". "Thanks, I guess..." I say, unsure how it meant his comment. "I have a question for you", says Rachel. "Yes?' I say. She smirks. "Have you ever been to the Arena?". "No Rachel. She can't go into the Arena. She has to return home", says Asher. "Wait you guys!" I say,"I want to go to the Arena. I want to see how everyone else lives". "Fine, but if you get hurt it's your own fault", says Jake. I smile for some reason. I'm starting to feel like part of their group. An angel in a demon group. A diamond in the rough.
