Everyone looks at me in fear. The angels stand up tall and bold, yet scared. Whereas, the demons slouch with a look of anger. Some angels fall to the demons, anxious that I will chose the demons. Some angels cry, but do not fall. I scan the field. Asher stands out among the demons. He is standing up straight, with Rachel and Jake at his side. His eyes pierce mine. Tears run down his face. I fly to him. "Faith", he starts,"I don't want you to be a demon. I only pretended to love you." My heart nearly stops. "What?" I say,"No, no, no." I start to cry. "Go away, you aren't wanted here", he says. I fly to God as fast as I can. "God", I say holding back my tears,"I want to be an angel, I chose you, I chose you." He looks at me sternly. "Are you sure of your decision?" he asks. "Yes", I respond,"All demons should burn." He stands."Faith has chosen the angels". The demons vanish.

For weeks following my choice, I feel severely depressed. I spend most of my time crying in my bed. One day, my former mentor Samuel comes into my room. "Faith, you have to get up and go out of your room". "No", I say resignedly. "Please, do it for me". I get out of bed. I feel dizzy. I go into the bathroom to get ready after Samuel leaves. Hope is so excited to see me. "I thought you had fallen Faith", she said. "No Hope, I'm still an angel", I say unenthusiastically. "What's wrong? What happened on Earth?" she says. At first, I don't know if I should tell her about it, but I decide to tell her everything. She looks shocked. Shocked that I had demons as friends, shocked that I went to Earth in the first place, and most of all, shocked that I fell in love with a demon. Hope says,"Faith, I know you think that you are in love with this Asher, but you have to let go". "Let go?!" I say,"I'll never let go. He broke my heart, and it can never be mended!". I storm off crying. I find I spot away from everyone else and sob. I sob for hours upon hours. Suddenly, I hear someone say,"Um...Faith are you okay...". I look up to see a boy about my age with brown hair, dark brown eyes, and big muscles; definetely a warrior. "Yeah, I'm fine", I say choking back the tears. "I'm Derek", he says,"You're the girl who preserved all the good in the world. That's really awesome". I start laughing. I laugh really hard. Instead of running away in fear, Derek starts laughing with me. "I guess it is kind of awesome", I say. I look at Derek and feel a sudden jerk in my stomach.

This can't be good.
