IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT in Brooklyn, around 11 pm actually. You were tired but you had a 1 year old baby to walk every so often. Your one year old cane corso, Gecko. Yes his name is kinda weird considering he's a dog but you thought it was cute, plus he's your dog so who's gonna say something about it?
You appreciated having a big protection dog for late night walks such as this one. You had been out with friends all day so this walk was a little further and longer than your normal walks. You didn't go outside of any recognizable area but Gecko sure as hell was getting a kick out of this long ass walk.
You weren't scared of walking at night, that's quite literally what the Gecko was trained for anyway. He didn't wear a leash but never acted out or left your side unless you got attacked or put in an alarming situation. Most people were home by now, and the ones that weren't were shady people, but you weren't concerned about them, they were too scared of your dog to approach you anyway.
