Tangerine's place is both the home of their friend, and a basement bar run by said friend; a motherly drag queen who goes by Tangerine. The actual bar is located under her living space upstairs, and the real name of the bar is 'Eden.' Which, if you ask anyone, is a terrible thing to name a bar in this day and age. She never cared though, she wanted that name, so it's the name she used. You don't question Tangerine when she decides on something wholeheartedly. All of her workers are young folk she's helped from the streets, as well as a few old friends of hers, and they're all dressed with various demon horn or halo headbands, tail belts in some cases, and costume wings. Tangerine has a problem with the government for her own reasons, and went with a demon and angel motif to spite them. You'd think it would be the worst place for a soldier to go, but for whatever reason Thirteen found it more charming than anything. He respected Tangerine and her defiance against the government that created him. As he and Damien take their usual seats at the bar, a young lady sporting large horns on her head walks behind the counter and leans on her elbows.
"Hey, if you're looking for Tang she's cooking something in the back."
"No worries Anarchy, we're not in a rush."
Damien politely addresses the girl. Ever since she got there she's refused to tell them her real name, only going by 'Anarchy.' Thirteen thinks it's fitting anyhow, she's often seen active at protests and riots in the city where the most chaos usually happens.
"Any shitheads recently?" Thirteen inquires. She smiles, her canines glistening. Thirteen wonders if she's always had such sharp teeth.
"Oh you know it, this world is full of 'em. Just last week some douche was grabbing at one of the new girls, oh my god you should've seen Tang she was fuming. I swear to whatever gods you believe in she picked him up by the leg, dragged him up the stairs and threw him out onto his ass, funniest shit I've ever seen!"
Thirteen chuckles, when a voice from their left startles him.
"Now now, I didn't throw him. But I certainly did give him an earful when I got him outside. And well... I may have grabbed the fellow by an ankle, I wouldn't remember."
Thirteen regards Tangerine with warmth. She's motherly alright, in a flashy sort of way. She sports a sparkly green dress, and a long fluffy wig of full orange hair. Her makeup isn't overly exaggerated but the greens make it pop anyways.
"Hey Tang. Good to see you."
"Of course dear, good to see you're still alive. I'm impressed those other soldiers haven't torn you to shreds by now, nasty fellows they are. And how's that roommate of yours doing?"
He sighs, and Damien pipes up.
"He actually got into another fight protecting him today. Poor guy can't catch a break."
"He's fine though. I caught them before they got his clothes off this time, and left the fight with few scratches. Twelve is unperturbed as usual."
"Well that's fine then, as long as he's safe. He's lucky you're there. You should really bring the poor dear sometime. Now what can I get for you two? I ask only in courtesy, I have a feeling I already know."
"Sambuca on the rocks." Thirteen says, cracking a smile. He feels comfortable here with this odd group, there are times he gets this strange sinking feeling, but he usually chalks it up to his depression and moves on.
"Rye for me please, with a coke." Damien answers. Tangerine smiles, she was correct. The two don't often switch up their orders, they've got their favorites and don't care much for changing it. Damien eyes the bottle Tangerine is using to pour Thirteens drink, when he seems to think of something. Thirteen interrupts him before he can even speak.
