"Boss, we've been at him for days. He won't talk or even listen."
"Did you have an idea or somethin' Oke?"
"We need to try a different method. If we can break him, I'm betting that he'll tell us where Genji is."

"Yeah, no shit. That's what we've been trying to do this whole time, numbskull."

"Well, do you want to hear my idea or not?"

"Fine, what do you got?"

The cold and dark prison cell was ungrateful. A fowl musk rid Hanzo of his senses and forced him to gently breathe through his mouth until he swore he could taste the smell that completely filled the dungeon. He was the only one in the dungeon. The solitude consumed him. Hanzo lay on the stone floor of the cell, wishing he could melt into it. He felt as worthless as the water dripping onto the floor of his cage. He used what little energy he had to fend off the screaching rats that could smell his open wounds. The last few days, he had been dragged in and out of his cell to be beaten and screamed at for his crimes, but he became numb to it. He felt like he deserved the torture, but for different reasons. Hanzo let the murky water of the dungeon fill his wounds. His eyes and heart hurt the most as he had cried every tear he could produce, and his heart shattered after knowing that he led his cowboy to death. A clock ticked in his head. Soon, he would be dragged back out and strung up to be tortured again. That's all he could do now was count. Count......and......wait......and hope that one of these times they'd finally put him out of his misery. That they'd put him down. He could sense it. It was almost time to bring him back into their torture chamber. Oke was always on time and right on cue him, and two more werewolves came strutting down the dank halls of the dungeon. One of them held a lit flickering lantern in their mouth. Oke stared down at the trembling wolf that seemed almost stuck to the ground from behind his cell bars and huffed.
"It's time again."
The door to the cell creeked open.
"Get up." Oke snapped.
Hanzo didn't move. His eyes glazed over as if he were dead.
"Get...up! We're sick of logging your pathetic ass everywhere!"
Still, he didn't move. Hanzo tuned out everything around him. Oke turned to one of the other wolves, gesturing for him to grab the ropes. The wolf came back and tied the ropes around Hanzo, then they each grabbed one end and began dragging him across the stone floor. Hanzo whimpered a bit but still hardly moved. He was dragged down the halls and down a set of stairs into a large room with stone walls and a singled barred-up window. The only time Hanzo would see light was when he was dragged into this room. To be tortured. Other wolves were waiting inside for them. In the center of the room were shackles. Two hanging from the ceiling and two bolted to the floor. In between the bolts on the floor was a drain. Kyo stood staring at the shackles before turning to face Hanzo. The wolves released him once he was lying in the center of the room. Oke followed behind and stared down at Hanzo.
"C'mon now. You know what needs to happen, traitor."
Hanzo was still.
Oke rolled his eyes and gestured for his wolves to make a move. They stepped forward, barring their teeth.
"Last warning, Hanzo. Change your form!"

He still didn't move. Oke flicked his head up and the first wolf pounced forward and sank its teeth into Hanzo's front paw. He yelped loudly before the next one pounced on him and bit his neck. He barked and yelped loudly feeling the sharp teeth sink into his throat. Oke growled and barked at that wolf. They both quickly pulled away.

"Are you crazy?! We aren't trying to kill him!"

Hanzo whined in pain but slowly felt the hole in his throat trying to heal itself up, but his fur was now drenched in blood and he could barely breathe. Something inside Hanzo lit up and compelled him to obey. He changed into his human form. A light was spotlighted above him. His back was covered in cuts. He looked up at his former kin as they began putting the shackles on his limbs. They would often make him change into his human form because it was softer.....weaker than his werewolf form. Easier to weaken and abuse. The chains attached to his arms and legs were still loose as he sat staring at the floor. Kyo approached him but immediately backed up as a fowl smell filled his nose.

"Ghehk! He smells like shit! I won't work like this. Rinse him off!" Kyo ordered.

A wolf pushed a lever on the wall and released a shower of water from the ceiling. It drenched him shiver, but cleaning his hair and cuts from dirt and grime. As Hanzo stared at the floor shivering and grunting in pain, he watched as the floor drain began consuming the water from underneath him. He thought of how much of his blood it must have taken with it as well. After all, that's what the drain and water were for. The water had stopped. Kyo gestured to another wolf who flipped a different lever on the wall. The chains began to tighten, lifting Hanzo off the floor. His body was forced into a star position. Kyo approached him and laughed a bit under his breath.
Suddenly, he started to change. He turned himself into a human. He was wearing some sort of blazer with gold on the inside, and his hair was slicked back. It was so surprising that Hanzo looked up to see him in shock. Kyo's sly grin was staring back.
"Now I see why you like this form, Cousin." Kyo began. He turned away from Hanzo and put both hands to his blazer. "Humans have style, and boy do I feel superior?!"
He turned back around.
"It's no wonder your little boy toy was killed. He felt.......superior to US! HA!! OF ALL THE CREATURES IN THE WORLD, YOUR LITTLE HUMAN FELT SUPERIOR TO A FUCKING WEREWOLF! Heh ha ha! I'd say we did you a favor Hanz! I mean how stupid do you have to be to think you can defeat a werewolf?!!"
Kyo got close to Hanzo's face which was slowly tensing up with anger.
"Oh!" Kyo said surprised. "Did I finally hit a nerve?"
Hanzo growled through his teeth.
"Don't breathe a word about Cole!" Hanzo managed to let out. Kyo quickly grabbed Hanzo's throat and choked him tightly. Hanzo tried to scream from the pain as Kyo grabbed the spot he was bitten in, but nothing came out. His grip was too tight.
"He was weak. This form is weak. YOU are weak Hanzo!"
He was desperately gasping for air, but managed to let a few words out.
"C-Cole....was....s-stron...ger....than you....wi-ll ever....be..."
Kyo quickly released his grip and grabbed Hanzo's jaw.
"If that were true, he would still be alive! He would still be alive if you two never met! The way I see it Hanz..." Kyo pointed in his face. "It's your fault he's dead."
That realization once again punched Hanzo in the gut. His eyes narrowed, and his breath became shaky again. The chill in his spine also returned and was consumed by dread.
"You know it's true." Kyo said softly. "I'm sure if this Cole knew that you'd lead him to his demise that he would've never wanted to meet you!"
"No."
"I bet Cole only took you in because he was scared of you!" Kyo continued.
Hanzo thought back to when him and Cole met and remembered the frightened look in his eyes.
"No, that's..."
"He took one look at you and knew he had to help you, because he could sense his life was at stake!"
Hanzo felt a weight on his chest. His mind was racing. His senses failed him. He couldn't think clearly.
"No, you're wrong I....he...."
"Or maybe he did see something in you! He saw the long term benefits of having a werewolf to do his bidding! He wanted you for your power so he made you fall in love with him!" Kyo exclaimed.
"It's not true!" Hanzo cried out. "It....it can't be!"
"Hanz, there's no way a human would ever love you!" Kyo said putting a finger to Hanzo's chest. "You're fucking pathetic. An outcast. A freak of nature. A traitor!" Kyo got close to his face. "And no one will ever love you again."

"Well, I already had no idea Hanz had a brother but I sure as hell wouldn't have taken you for some kind of jokster."
"This is serious, Cole."
"Yeah, about as serious as this situation. Seriously I must be in purgatory or some shit cause there's no way I'm a W-"

Genji suddenly changed. His human cyborg form appeared from a cloud of lime smoke. His fit body covered fully in armor. He knelt down close to Cole. So close that the light from his visor reflected off Cole's face. They sat in silence for a moment. Without saying a word, Genji had finally convinced Cassidy that this was all real. That he was alive and that he was now a werewolf. Cole stared in shock. He was shaking in fear, but quickly swallowed it and accepted his fate.
"Your first lesson. Change your physique on command."
"W-what?!"
"A werewolf feeds off their energy to deploy their powers. You must use a small amount of energy to change into your wolf form. It's your strongest form, but it needs to be trained. It will also heal you faster, but you have very little energy at the moment."
"Y-You're saying I can do...that?!" Cole gestured to Genji with his finger in a swirling motion.
Genji stood up and turned back into a wolf.
"Perhaps after some more rest, more tea, and a bit of discipline, you'll be able to help me save Hanzo."
