Shortly after the incident with Touya you and your brother were on the streets again, having to flee from the crime scene, the scene where Touya died, your eyes puffy, face covered in your dried up tears.
The sky dark and blue, you looked up at the stars, that being your only comfort in the cruel world you lived in.
You never stopped crying after Touya's death, it kept replaying in your head. All he wanted to do was show off his quirk and his improvement, all because his father neglected him, sadly, his will to show off was his end.
Just the thought of it made a tear fall from your eye, "Y/n come on, are you still crying?" asked Deshawn, sounding annoyed. Deshawn was still also grieving the death of Touya, after all, he was his best friend, well after the death of your parents.
Him and Touya became like brothers when they first met, and now he lost his only friend, so of course he was hurt, "We gotta move on, you'll have to get over it soon" he said as his voice started to get a little shaky.
You swiped away your tears and continued to walk the streets of Japan, "Where are we going De?" you asked in your little, voice full of sorrow.
"Just keep walking, you'll know once we get there" he said as he led you both into the start of the woods, " Can you just tell me" you asked again, your voice shaky, Deshawn let out a an irritated sigh.
He turned around and kneeled on one knee and stared at you in your eyes, "Ok listen" he said sternly and in a more serious tone, "we are gonna do something very dangerous ok?" you nodded your head.
"I've been around this area more then a few times, just enough to set up a back up camp at an abandoned church, the church is nice and very livable, so here is where the dangerous part comes in you listening?" you nodded your head again.
"There are some thugs around this area who have food and water, we are gonna take some it" he said, "We're gonna steal?" you asked in a confused tone, "No, we can't steal from bad people" he said making sure you understood.
You nodded your head, "They aren't to far from here, you distract them and I'll take the food, they might be to heavy for you to carry" he said in a laugh as he patted your head, a laugh escaped your lips.
He smiled, that was the first time you had laughed since Touya's death, made him feel more at ease, "Ok look, their hideout is just up ahead, you're gonna walk ride in and just beg for help, if they look like they are gonna attack you, just scream and I'll save you" he said as he pointed in the direction of their hideout.
"Ok lets go" he said as he started to lead you toward their base, your breaths started to get heavy with anticipation, "Wait right here, I have to get the duffle bags" he said as he went to the side of a tree and grabbed two duffle bags, "Ok this is where we'll have to separate," he said in a whisper.
"Their hide out is that abandoned car park, just go in their and make friends if you can, I'll signal you by blasting a little flare in the sky, that'll be your cue to leave," he said, he suddenly grabbed at your chin aggressively, "Leave at any cost, even if you have to use your quirk" he said sternly.
You gave him a stern nod as your facial expression turned into a serious one, you both walked closer to the abandoned car park, "Ok Y/n this is where we part, just walk in and act natural, like I said if they attack just scream" he said again.
You nodded again, wanting to stay quiet, Deshawn gave you a final thumbs up before he went off to where their food and water was, you remained calm, you put on your hood and tightened it around your head.
