Chapter 24:The ride back home.

"Favorite movie?"

"I kinda don't have one"

"Mine is the one that stars All Might!"

"Why am I not surprised"

You both laughed at your response, questions you both decided to ask to get to know each other more.

The walk to the train station was long, you looked up at the night sky, remembering how many times you've done it throughout your life.

No matter how hard things got, you always admired the sweet darkness of the night sky.

How the stars compliment the darkish blue canvas.

"Isn't that movie called.."

"All Mights Mighty Adventures to America" Izuku said instantly, "Yeah that one" you said in between a laugh.

Izuku laughing as well, "we're nearing the train station so-"

"nearing?" you say furrowing one of your eyebrows, "yeah, nearing" he says awkwardly, you laughed a bit, "is there something wrong with nearing?"he said making you laugh once more, Izuku now looking at you weird, "It's just a funny sounding word is all" you say explaining yourself.

"Ugh I can't wait to take these butterfly locs out" you say with an annoyed squeal, "It's gonna be so much work" you complain, Izuku laughs at your complaining, you took that personally.

"Oh so you think it's funny" you saying jokingly, "I'll have you know that this shit is gonna take me all night" you said scolding him, "You said all you had to do was cut the loc out your real hair which should be easy right?"

You looked at him baffled, "Excuse me?" you say almost offended causing Izuku to jolt a bit, "Izuku do you not see how many locs are in my head? and on top of that I gotta do a deep wash and all, this shit is time consuming" you argue.

"Don't even get me on fairy knots" you said as you rolled your eyes just thinking about it, "Fairy knots? what are those?"asked Izuku, "there these knots that get tied in one strand, they normally appear after wearing a protective style, or if you don't do your hair in a few days" you explained.

"What's a protective style?" he asked again, you let out a chuckle, "well you see my hair right now?" he nodded, "These locs are a protective style, it also helps my hair grow" Izuku nodded attentively.

"So you wear that style because your looking for growth?" he said and your eyes widened in excitement, "Yes!" you shouted with laughter, he started laughing too, finding your excited outburst humorous.

"And that's why I gotta do a deep wash with my hair, so that I can keep up the progress so I can have long and healthy hair" you said with joy in your tone, "wait so what do you do with the fairy knots?"

"I just cut them out, so thats why I deep wash, to avoid having them, of course I gotta take them out but to avoid fairy knots I just gotta keep my hair moisturized" you said explaining.

"A deep wash is takes time, but the end result is worth it" you say, "So do you know what you wanna do know with your hair now?" he asked, "You said something about a sew in? is that what it's called?" he said trying to make an effort to remember what you said earlier.

You chuckled a bit, "Yeah you're right, but now I'm thinking about doing knotless goddess braids" you saying peering up at the air in the decision between knotless or a sew in.

"Why don't you just wear your hair naturally?" he asked with a sense of genuine, you had to think about how you would answer his question, even though you knew the answer already.
