Flick, flick...

The remaining half an hour had relentlessly run out and the lights had gone out once again. I awoke from my short slumber and looked around before sighing out of despair. Colleen had still been asleep, and thanks to that deal, I could not have left her by herself.

"I'd like to take you up on that deal", she had said, after listening to the conversation I had with Carlos. Allegedly, she had heard me telling him that I was the savior, so she'd suddenly decided to trust me. I could tell that she was looking for some comfort, looking for someplace safe, but this was not the way to go about it. Of course, this had also fixed my safety in place, but unlike Colleen, I wanted to investigate more; I wanted to find out more about this place.

Nearby the area that Colleen had been sleeping, I'd found a flashlight. I picked it up and turned it on, took out the blueprint that Carlos had given me and scanned through it.

That mansion... it really was huge.

The part of the house that we were in, it did not even make up a fraction of the entire place. According to the blueprint, the entire place left this island barely any space for sand and greenery; this island was basically just a mansion in the middle of the ocean. It seemed like something you'd see in a movie, but it was true - we were trapped inside of a mansion in the middle of no-man's land. Suddenly, the thoughts of the terror that would happen tonight rushed through my head.

"Flavia...".

Two people would die that night.

The thought bugged me throughout the entire night. The fact that I was stuck there with Colleen for 8 hours, all thanks to some stupid deal which I'd made from an impulse made me burn in rage, burn in despair. I wanted to leave, I wanted to find out more, but I was unable to. I was powerless, I was useless. All I could do was sit there and watch. Watch time as it went by, watch the occasional clatter of things, watch as the next two people die that night.

And those two people were Kiryomi and Amani.

Mateo despaired and let out a bloodcurdling scream at the fact that Amani was now dead. Mateo's motives remained unclear, if he actually loved Amani in such a short span of time or just pretended to love her in the crude motive of maintaining a facade. Either way, good riddance. Amani was useless throughout this whole killing game, losing her had no benefit or loss to us. Amani's murder case was simple - she was attacked with a seemingly heavy object at the back of the head and then tied up to the walls with ropes and wires.

However, Kiryomi's murder case... that case, it was cruel; it was a disgusting, horrific, disturbing sight, even for the most stone cold of us, like me.

Both of Kiryomi's arms and legs were tied to 4 very distant poles with tight ropes, each arm and leg stretched out tremendously. She had her tongue and one eye removed from her body. She had a spear pierced through her abdomen, she had two knives impaling her palms, holding them both down to the concreted floor. She had had knife marking on her legs and knees, multiple of them. Her mouth was covered with tape, seemingly to block her screams.

Flavia... Kiryomi was tortured to death by Flavia. That was the brutal reality.

"This... Flavia did this, I'm sure of it...", Carlos uttered, "I know they said that the assassin's attack would be brutal, but... god damn... this... it's really too much". The fact that even the detective was unable to observe such a sight would prove just how bad the aura this victim had been giving out.

"Do you think this is all that she did?", I asked. "I know... that seems out of line to ask, but... Kiryomi was the psychic. Killing her, it affected our team, for sure, but... it doesn't affect our progress much, wouldn't you agree? Sure, it reduced the amount of good people in our team, but...".
