Alhaitham's POV

I should have realised speaking to Kaveh normally at the moment was a mistake. I should've known.
I was back at the house, and the first thing I fucking said was,
"Kaveh, rent."
I shouldn't have said so. I instantly regretted what I said.
"What, so before getting rent for yourself, you decided not to apologize. Instead, you decided to wholeheartedly ignore me and not talk to me. How selfish of you. I know you only wanted money."
And that was utterly untrue.
"Well, aren't you the one who is being selfish? You should've known that you are living in my house and I have my own rules. Either you follow, either you leave. That's all"
"Well, duh, I don't care. I TECHNICALLY HAVE MY OWN RIGHTS TO FEEL IN THIS PLACE."
"OH, right... well, I guess you're the boss, and I can not get fees from a person who is living in my house."
"Hmph," he shot.
I was in full rage. I didn't care. I didn't WANT to care. It's my house, and I play by my rules.
As I was so raged, I yelled back, "Nothing else to say right? Well, go ahead and pay. You are not that poor, and don't ever say you have bigger problems than I do."

Kaveh's POV

I know he was angry, but so was I. Sometimes, love can make people crazy, and it sure made me.
I knownI am not a fortunate person. I know I didn't get as much love that Haitham did when he was young, but that didn't stop us from being friends, and now, I don't want his temper and his thoughts to stop me from loving, but I just can't accept this anymore. I am done with this mess, and I am not going back.
