Life has been better since. I get to stick to my work at night without Alhaitham screaming his lungs out. Instead, he was hugging me the whole time.
Overall, life after the chase has been better than I expected, and I enjoyed how Alhaitham treated and cuddled me. I'm ready for a new start. I'm ready to start myself anew.

He finally gets it. And I'm just glad that he does. Life is going to be better somehow.
