(Lily: Mum) (Amy: Mom)
Since the incident I have visited Midnight as often as I could. It's been four days since then and Robin has woken up. He woke up two days ago. I tried to ask him about what happened but he didn't remember just like the other incidents. I was at the hospital at the moment but not for Midnight this time but to visit the police officer. Midnight was traumatized.
They were mostly non-verbal which didn't help either. They did use their phone to communicate but talking about it stressed them out which the Doctor said wasn't best since they are still recovering from the attack. They were resting right now so I was making my way to the police officer. It was a bit of a walk but I got there.
"Hi Jess," she greeted.
"Hi, how are you doing?" I asked.
"Better now, I get discharged today or tomorrow but to do therapy after due to the trauma, how are you?" she informed me.
"I'm ok, my foster parents treat us well, I miss my parents a lot though and think about them often but then feel bad," I admitted.
"It's understandable you feel bad love but no need because you're grieving and missing them is completely normal," I felt understood then.
I smiled sitting in the chair next to her. She didn't deserve to be attacked. I just don't get why this killer keeps hurting the people Robin is near it makes no sense. Are they after him or something? Surely not right because why not hurt him then.
"What are you doing here?" she asked bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Oh my partner got injured, the same attack," she looked worried.
"I'm guessing you came to me to talk about it?" she questioned.
"If you're not up to it you don't have to," I assured.
"No it's ok I don't mind," she spoke as she invited me to sit on the bed with her.
I felt confused but complied. She looked hesitant to begin with looking unsure if she should tell me. I hoped I wasn't about to here what I was fearing.
"I was interogating Robin like I did with you, first asking about the first scene, I talked about the hamster and bullying," she told me before taking a pause looking as if she can't believe what happened next. "I was just getting I don't know answers so I thought why not bring his other personality out well umm he became a demon of some kind before attacking me," that answer made me feel completely shocked.
A demon? How is that possible? So there other personality isn't due to DID but a possession possibly but how could that have happened. Demons don't randomly take people over they likely exist in another world unless they are brought here. It's good we didn't do therapy I guess otherwise the therapist would have been dead.
"Why did he attack our parents, the hamster and Midnight?" I asked without thinking.
"Midnight?" she questioned with confusion.
"Yeah I realised I'm dating your child just before they were attacked, they are awake and recovering now, they should let them out in the next day or two," I explained while trying to assure her that her child was ok.
"Ok good don't know what I would do if I lost them, I don't really have an answer but I guess intense emotions brings out the demon so if they are extremely happy, angry, scared, just any emotion that gets too extreme, the demon comes out, what happened to cause such extreme emotions?" she questioned.
"Well the hamster made them really happy so extreme happiness, Rachel mentioned how our mother was saying good things about us plus our dad getting the food they liked caused which also caused extreme happiness, they were anxious about the interview but I think you got attacked because you brought it out, me and Midnight were getting suspicious of him, they said they would talk to you tomorrow, I guess the demon would have heard that too I'm just not sure if it's trying to protect him or control him, but it would have been found out that he was in fact possessed by a demon and his other personality isn't real," I realised.
"That all does makes sense and adds up but then you have to sort this demon out so I would suggest going to a professional exorcist," she advised.
I nodded and decided to go back to Midnight since they had been on their own for a while now. I was glad to see they were ok and sleeping. I had to talk with my mom though about Robin but somewhere he couldn't hear. I went to Robin's room to see be was asleep and that made it perfect.
"Mom I have to talk to you about something," I spoke in a hushed voice signalling her to come over.
She did with a confused expression. She didn't seem sure as to what was going on.
"What is it?" she spoke at the same level back.
"Not here," I took her hand and walked us to the waiting room which was empty luckily.
"Umm...Robin is...well he...," I couldn't say because I was unsure of how to say it.
"I know, I got Midnight to open up somehow and they didn't tell me everything but that Robin was behind it, apparently he became a demon, I mean not the typical demon look but had a fire blade and that was the weapon used to injure the others," she told me.
"I don't understand why he was taken over?" I questioned.
"Robin mentioned to me once that he tried to do a spell to remove all his bad emotions but it never worked, he probably did a spell which brought the fire demon out of its world and into him," my mom guessed.
That did make sense and she was just a child as well. I didn't even know we had spell books but it probably wasn't the spell book you see everyday but the one for possession and exorcism. I mean the other personality is how Robin was while he was being bullied so it makes sense. All of his bad emotions went into the demon. Since he was feeling strong emotions when he did the spell.
It would make sense that strong emotions trigger it to come out. Robin was likely feeling alone, misunderstood and scared. The good emotions must trigger it because the demon wasn't introduced to good emotions so even when they get extreme the demon is triggered to come out.
"No one is safe while he is here," I pointed out.
My mom agreed so we went back in. My mom mentioned she injected Robin with something that makes you sleep and he should be asleep long enough for us to get him to the place where we can finally get rid of this demon and find out it's motives. My mom had chains in the back which was too strong even for the demon. I pointed out how it couldn't possess anyone else it probably didn't work like that since it was a spell specifically for Robin.
My mom told me that the person who cast the spell can only be taken over by the demon which assured me. We started making our way to the best exorcist in the world. I just hope as soon as we are rid of it things go back to normal. The drive wasn't too long and Robin was still in deep sleep when we got there. My mom carried her out and I got all the equipment. We went inside to be greeted by a woman.
"This is Robin she guessed," to which we nodded.
"There's no need for those, our chains are the strongest," she told me.
I nodded putting them down and she took Robin in her arms. She put Robin's arms and feet in the chains. I had never seen that kind of metal before but it seemed strong. The place Robin was in was behind really strong glass. We watched and waited for Robin to wake up. He was in a sitting position facing us so we could truly see his other side. It didn't take long for him to wake up.
I mean longer than we thought and Robin was immediately stressed out. He started to overheat like the other times and before I knew it I was staring face to face with my parents killer.
