The Car Wash- Station 19

Part 1

Nobody's POV-

It started off as a normal day, well as normal as Station 19 could get. Everyone was preparing the station for an election day, putting the banners up, signs, tables ect. Everything had been going pretty well for everyone at Station 19, not perfect though. 

Maya and Carina's relationship has been slowly getting better but Carina still has some doubt, Jack has been seeing some more family members, Ben getting a medal of Valor Honoree, but he was mad that he got it because he thought that everyone saved lives, not just him. But Station 19 has never been perfect, so being pretty well is an achievement. 

"19! Can I talk to you all in the beanery?" Chief Ross yelled getting the attention for every member of Station 19. Everyone walked up into the beanery wondering what Chief Ross wanted to say to them?

"So, 19, one of the things on my to do list is to choose a permanent Captain. So, before I make my decision if any remaining lieutenant wants to be considered for Captain, please step forward." Chief Ross said as she looked around the room to all the lieutenants. 

The first lieutenant to step forward was Ruiz, then Herrera and finally Sullivan. Everyone keep on looking over to Maya but she didn't step forward which shocked many firefighters.

'Ladder 19, Aid Car 10 requested to Homestead Rd.' 

"Is this a Car Wash we are attending?" Maya asked Captain Ruiz, which he nodded. 

"There is a car stuck in the Car Wash, one with significant head trauma. When we get there I'll get the manual or an on-site map and we'll work from there. Any questions 19?" Ask Caption Ruiz

"No Captain!" Everyone replied. 

Once Station 19 finally got there it was found out that the person working there had no clue what was going one. He didn't know where anything was, he was helpless. 

"All right, Gibson, Bishop, cut the utilities into the car wash! Sullivan, Herrera, stand by to extricate whoever's in that vehicle! But I want the power cut off before anyone goes inside!" Captain Ruiz sighed as this call was already not going how he planned. 

Herrera thought this was a horrible idea and that they should go inside the Car Wash to make sure everyone is stable. But Herrera didn't wait for any answer she just ran inside risking her life.

"Damn it, Herrera. Go with her!" Captain Ruiz yelled and paced back and forth scared for his team.

Gibson and Bishop walked around the other side of the building to find the power box, which luckily wasn't to hard to find. 

"Who would have thought that the first call of the day would be for a car stuck in a Car Wash, literally the one place you wouldn't think a car would get stuck in." Gibson giggled as he wondered how the scrubber ended up onto of the vehicle. 

"Well, things shock you everyday." Bishop laughed along. 

Maya and Jacks friendship has been getting stronger and stronger everyday, they have gotten over everything and now it's back to being brother and sister. 

"Maya watch out!" Gibson yelled as he tried to grab onto her but it was to late she was already on the floor. Maya looked up and saw Gibson's face, he was terrified. She started laughing her face off as she thought it was funny that she tripped over a rock.
