~Sunday, Monday and so on; nobody cares, but today will always be special and remembered ~
Manjeet Lifecare Hospital
"Lilliput!"
There was a scream that could be heard throughout the hospital corridors. People looked here and there to have a look at the person who managed to shake the entire hospital building."Manik! Calm down!" Aadit who had come out of the I.C.U. held onto a worried Manik. "Lill-Lilliput. Where, where is she? See her. I need to see her."
Manik looked like he could pass out any moment due to the amount of sweat on his face and neck, as he seems to have his blood pressure too high.
"Not now, Manik. Not now." Aadit tried to take Manik to a nearby chair, but he was pushed behind. "Bola na I need to see her." Manik rushed towards the door, only for someone to hug him tight.
"Leave me. Leave, I said. She needs me. Arey Usse Kuch hojaega tho. I need her safe, okay. Chod mujhe." His scream only tightened the hold that the person had around him. "Enough, Manik. Calm the hell down, now. Princess would never like to see you in this state of emotions."
And that did calm the rage in Manik, whose face got dipped in the person's shoulder with tears falling out of his eyes. "Asad Bhai. I...I can't. I-I-I'm scared, Bhai. I'm scared."
Asad hugged Manik tight and patted on his shoulders, before blinking his own tears away.
"She's our strong tigress. Kuch bhi nahi hoga usse. I promise!"
Manik bobbed his head in affirmation. All this while, someone sat silenty listening to everything happening.
Yashjeet Murthy!

"She's in Stage-3."
Mrunal stared at Aadit without her eyes blinking, before she held onto her forehead and stepped back. She turned around towards the window and tried to breathe deep, to calm herself down.
"What-what does that mean?" Rithvik asked, and Aadit fell silent. He was never a doctor who fumbled with words, but today he felt out of words. Because the patient was Nandini. Someone he liked very much. Someone close to his heart.
"Aadit, tell us. Tum chup Kyu ho?" Manik intervened, with his forehead damp in sweat.
"An immediate transplant."
It didn't come from Aadit, who turned to look at Mrunal. While others went stiff. Others include, younger Murthys and Malhotras, along with Arijit and Abhimanyu.
"Wh-at?"
Sidharth asked, and Mrunal wiped her tears away before walking towards where Aadit sat. "How many days? Or...hours?" She looked stoic and calm. There was no emotions on her face but that couldn't be the case for her eyes."A week we got, Mrunal. A week." Mrunal nodded. "I'll find a donor." She mumbled out loud, and Aadit stood up. "It's only a week, Mrunal. Kaise karenge hum? Kisiko marna hai ye transplant keliye Mrunal. Do you remember that?"
He vented his frustration out and all Mrunal did was to tap her hands on the table. "Farak nahi padtha mujhe. Mere Liye Meri best friend ke Aage Kuch bhi nahi hain. And if she needs a donor to live, then I can find that too for her."
She looked behind at the people, before her eyes went at Manik.
"You promised to fight for her...Bhai!" And Manik looked back at his friends. "Get the phones ready."
