In days of yore, a photograph so fair,
Captured moments of love beyond compare.
But time has passed, its memory now lost,
A relic forgotten, at such a cost.
Once vibrant hues now faded to gray,
The faces once known have all gone away.
A snapshot frozen in the depths of time,
A bittersweet echo of a love sublime.
Oh, forgotten photograph, tell me your tale,
Of laughter and joy that used to prevail.
Now gathering dust in an attic's embrace,
A silent witness to love's fleeting grace.
Through tear-stained eyes, I gaze upon your frame,
And long for the warmth that once bore your name.
But alas! The past cannot be undone,
And I'm left with memories, one by one.
Oh, forgotten photograph, you haunt my dreams,
A reminder of what was and what it seems.
Though you may fade and crumble with each passing day,
Your essence lingers on in my heart's display.
