one people

In a world where colors blend,
No distinction, no divide,
Light or dark, we all transcend,
One people, side by side.

No tone to set us apart,
No prejudice, no disdain,
United, we share one heart,
In this diverse human chain.

Syllables dance, free and wild,
Expressing love, joy, and pain,
Through poetry, we reconcile,
Our differences, we explain.

English, the language we speak,
A bridge connecting us all,
With words, we find what we seek,
In this universal call.

Let's celebrate our unity,
Embrace the beauty we possess,
For in our diversity,
We find strength and happiness.

(Author's note: sorry I've been having terrible writers block recently I've been studying world history and I just paused to think even in my home country of the U.S. how many ethnicities are represented even in my small hometown there's Dutch, Hispanic, Spainish, Koren, French, South African, Guatemalan and Russian people)
