3rd POV..
Two hearts, two minds, two people..
Mackerel Whitford and Astrid Duarte.
These two were co-workers and had already knew each other due to growing up together, child-hood friends who became distant and then reconnected as they hit their early 20's.
Mackerel, deemed to be annoying, mischievous, caring and a pervert by Astrid could sometimes also be very concerning due to their ever increasing silence.
They had become silent due to traumatic events in their life that no child should have had to bear. However. Mackerel worked through it the best he could with the help of Astrid.
On the other hand of the spectrum, Astrid could be well..
Violent.
But Mackerel describes his best froens differently, such as:
Protective, Funny, Caring and Loving.
They had seen nothing wrong with how overly protective Astrid could be of them. In their mind, it was cute how Astrid acted like a Mother bear protecting her 'cub'.
It was until a few years later that these two would find themselves in a predicament with each other..
