Corrupted (Lapidot+ Corrupted peridot story) STEVEN UNIVERSE

The Beta Kindergarden

Peridot was walking around the kindergarden, educating the two other crystal gems she was with, Steven and Amethyst about her nerd stuff as blabbering about all the information she has as a kindergardener. Turns out Jasper really was perfect.

Amethyst walked slouched with her head down.The purple gem's hands were in her jean shorts pockets as Amethyst nodded slowly along to whatever Peridot and steven were talking about, dragging her feet as she walked a bit behind the two short gems who were talking. She looked out of it, distracted with the thoughts in her own head.

As thoughts swirled through the short one's head she suddenly heard a noise, snapping out of her trance and whipping her head around towards the sound as she stopping adbruptly. Steven and Peridot clearly didnt hear as they didnt notice Amethyst slip away, around a corner of the curved red-ish orange kindergarden walls. 

She noticed the dug out holes, noticing the metal bars that came from the injectors jammed into the rocks, forming a kind of prison. She looked increasingly disturbed at the holes that were dug out. The gem then approched one, examining it. Amethyst was was going to get closer until she noticed a corrupted gem inside, a huge one with a long fur coat, jammed into place in the tiny dug out hole. She let out a small shreek, jumping back startled. The small purple gem felt bad for it, wanting to put the monster into a bubble but would come back later. Amethyst wouldn't let herself get distracted again.

She walked past a small area of the kindergarden, taking a double take and examining it. Jasper, the gem that they have been looking for for weeks was there, talking to another corrupted gem who was also in a cage :More like bullying it. Amethyst decided to sneak up on the tall quartz:  shuffling on a slight ledge trying to get the upper hand.

"- We all only get what we deserve," she said in her cold raspy voice, as Jasper was still faced to the corrupted gem.

"Isn't that right amethyst?" she asked, chuckling as she turned around towards amethyst. amethyst, shocked, fell from she was standing, whip and hand, falling onto her side. the shorter quartz looked up at jasper before jumping to her feet. "Jasper!" the purple one yelled. Jasper laughed at her, looking around. "Wheres your pathetic excuse of a team? hiding?" she said chuckling.

"They aren't here right now!" She called out to her, taking a few steps back.

Steven and Peridot were talking and giggling, until steven turned to say something to amethyst. "Isn't that funn-" his eyes widened as he noticed that amethyst wasn't walking beside him. "Gah! wheres amethyst?! Peridot, did you see where she went?" the hybrid asked shouting a bit. "I didnt see where the amethyst went....- OH MY STARS!-" They came across the holes that had been dug out, examining them such as Amethyst had did before them.

Amethyst and Jasper could be heard fighting.

amethyst was launched into the wall behind her, the purple ones back being slapped roughly into the rock wall, as she fell to the ground, looking up at Jasper. "Your pathetic. give it up already you disgrace." 

"Rose said.. i-im perfect the way i am.." she stumbled onto her feet, holding herself together weakly. Steven and peridot rushed over, sprinting over to help amethyst .

"Well she had low standards." Jasper commented coldly, not noticing steven then throwing his pink swirled shield at her. Steven hit her right beside her gem, right in the face."AuGH- Fucking shi-"  She stumbled back  as she mumbled some other curses, , leaving enough time for steven to rush over to amethyst. "Amethyst..! why.. why didnt you come to get us after you found Jasper..? We couldve done this together.." Amethyst laughed weakly. "I thought I could do it on my own, but Jasper's right. I really AM weak"

"NO!"

Amethyst turned over to Steven, seeing Peridot trying to lift a metal rod in her peripheral vision, and jasper who looked increasingly annoyed. "what..?" She asked-mumbled. "Your not weak! amethyst your one of the coolest people I know! and your like me.. Is being like me all so bad?" Amethyst chuckled. "Us worse gems stick together, right?"
