I climbed out of bed and yawned as I looked over to my alarm clock. "Oh shit! It's 2:00 already?!" I rushed to my bathroom and hopped in the shower being as quick as possible. I slept way too long, I can't take too long to get ready. I'm supposed to be gone at 3:30. Today my uncle is meeting with a few different artists. He's having a party as his album just dropped and he wanted me to be there. I got out of the shower and dried off before rushing to my closet, looking for an outfit. I got dressed quickly and looked at myself in the mirror.

Shiiii not bad for someone rushing. I sat down at my vanity and did my makeup as fast as I possibly could before collecting myself and leaving the house. I was raced to my car excitedly. This party was a celebration for my uncle. And I was a huge fan of some of the people who were gonna be there. There were people from his new album, people he's worked with, family and friends, etc. There was no way this party wasn't going to be awesome. I pulled up to my uncle's house and got out of my car, closing my door slowly as I looked over his huge property. I walked into the large house and heard people shouting my uncle's name, I looked around confused. "DRAKE, DRAKE, DRAKE, DRAKE!" All I could hear was the shouting of his family, friends and collaborators. I smiled as I looked up the stairs. My uncle was walking down the stairs with lil Adonis. I smiled and made my way through the crowd. I picked Adonis up and twirled around with him before making eye contact with my uncle. "Thank you for coming. I really appreciate it." I smiled and nodded. "Well, clearly I'm not the only one here to talk to. You have fun unc." I smiled and walked away as he began speaking to everyone, thanking them for coming and thanking them for working with him. I put Adonis down and grabbed his hand. "You are getting way to big to carry." He stayed silent but wore a happy smile on his face. I smiled down at him before bumping into someone. My eyes shot up. It was non other than Central Cee. "Holy shit, I am so sorry. I am such a huge fan." I blurted out as he stared down at me. He had smiled, "Nah, you all good. But be careful walking around with this lil man." he said leaning over and fist bumping Adonis. I smiled. "Yeah, sorry. I'm y/n by the way. I'm-" He nodded and cut me off. "Oh shit, y/n. Drake's niece. He talks a lot about you. Says once you get started in the industry you'll blow up. Nice to meet you." I paused and my heart melted. "He talks about me?" I asked confused. My uncle was always the nicest in the family, to me at least and knowing that he talks about me just makes me really happy. "yeah, he thinks you're pretty great." I smiled and looked over at Adonis who had let go of me and ran off to play with some other kids in the living room. After a few seconds my eyes met his again. "Well, I'm not the only great one here. You aren't allat bad yourself." I laughed. "Well, I appreciate it. Ay, how about we grab a drink and find somewhere to sit and talk?" He said reaching his hand out grabbing mine. "I'd love that and I think I know the perfect place!" I said as we began walking into the kitchen, grabbing drinks and heading out of the sliding glass door, into the backyard.
We were walking and talking when we ran into my uncle and a group of people. "Oh, y/n. I see you've met Cench." My uncle said as he smiled and gave me a warm hug. "These here are some of the people on the new album. I'm sure you know them." I looked around the group of people and my jaw fucking dropped. Chief Keef, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, J Cole, 21 Savage, Yeat, etc. "Holy shit. It's so nice to meet you all. Wow holy shit, I'm talking to Chief Keef, J Cole, Lil Yachty and 21 Savage all at once. This has got to be a dream." Everyone laughed and we all talked for a bit about music before me and Cench broke off from the group and I took him to an area in the back yard away from everyone else. "I can't believe this is real." I said laughing and hiding my blushing face. "Well, if things go the way I want them to me and you will be great friends and you'll get used to some of these faces." I smiled and laughed a little. He wants to be my friend. "Well, I think this night is going exactly how you want it to then." I smiled and grabbed my drink, taking a sip. Cench looked at me and smiled. "You're really pretty. You know that?" I felt my face get hot and I smiled. "Well, thank you. You're a very handsome man yourself." He grabbed my free hand and smiled. "What if it could get better?" I cocked my eyebrow and looked at him. "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "This is fast, I know but what if me and you went out? I mean I feel like I've known you forever at this point. All Drake does is talk about you and music. And I wouldn't mind calling a gorgeous woman like yourself mine." I felt my heart racing and butterflies fill my stomach. "You know what? I think I'd like that." I said as the smile on my face grew larger. Cench wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me. "I'm really happy you said that." He grabbed his drink and tap his glass to mine before smiling and looking at me. "To Drake's new album and to us. Starting something new." He said before gulping down his drink. I chugged my glass and smiled at him. "Well, cheers." I laughed.
