The morning light streamed softly through the curtains, casting a gentle glow upon the room. Zână stirred, her eyelids fluttering open as she became aware of the world around her. For a moment, she lay still, absorbing the warmth of the body beside her, the rhythmic rise and fall of Cassandra's chest.
The vampier lay beside her, her dark hair fanned out like a midnight waterfall on the pillow. Lips curled into a contented smile, a soft, almost purring sound escaping her in slumber. Zână couldn't help but smile herself, her heart feeling full and light. Gently, she shifted, her fingers tracing delicate patterns along Cassandra's arm. The vampire stirred but didn't wake, instead nuzzling closer to the source of warmth. Zână marveled at how someone so fierce, so commanding, could look so utterly vulnerable in sleep.
She leaned in, brushing her lips across Cassandra's forehead, leaving a feather-light kiss there. The corners of Cassandra's lips curled into a sleepy smile as she half-turned, burying her face in the curve of Zână's neck, the witch bitting down a whimper as vampire's nose brushed the fresh mark.
"Mmm... stay a little longer," Cassandra murmured, her voice raspy from sleep. Zână's heart fluttered at the vulnerability in Cassandra's request, a stark contrast to the fierce and commanding presence she usually exuded.
Zână chuckled softly, the melodic sound a harmonious counterpoint to the tranquility of the room. She brushed her fingers through Cassandra's dark locks, savoring the feel of the vampire's closeness. "I have no intention of leaving, little bug," Zână whispered, her voice a soothing melody.
Dimitrescu's lips curved into a mischievous smile as she nestled closer, inhaling Zână's scent. "Good... You smell amazing," she murmured, her words carrying a subtle hungerbegan growing inside of her. As if the actions from yesterday's evening didn't satisfy her enough.
Zână couldn't help but chuckle at the comment, her eyes reflecting a playful glint. "Ah, thank you darling, I picked it specially for you," she teased sarcastically, continuing to run her fingers through Cassandra's hair.
Cassandra, still in a state of semi-consciousness, felt a growing hunger intensify within her. The vampire instincts stirred, and she shifted slightly, her eyes enlarging. "You know..." she trailed off, her fangs lightly grazing her lower lip. "I can help."
The witch, still amused, rolled her eyes playfully. She tilted Cassandra's chin with a gentle touch, ensuring their eyes met. "Dragă, there's no need. I can take care of myself," she reassured, her tone a gentle yet firm reminder. "You did enough yesterday." With a tender smile, Zână leaned in, placing a soft kiss on Cassandra's lips. "We have all the time in the world, my love. No need to rush."
The taste of the lavender kiss lingered on her own lips, a sweet and lingering sensation that only deepened the feelings inside the vampire.
Unable to resist the magnetic pull, Cassandra shifted slightly and closed the gap between them, initiating a kiss of her own. It was a slow, unhurried dance of lips, a languid exchange that spoke of a profound connection. Time seemed to lose its meaning as they reveled in the simplicity of the moment, each kiss a testament to the depth of their emotions. As their lips met and parted in a slow, sensual rhythm, Cassandra's hands cradled Zână's face, fingers tracing the delicate lines of her features, reveling in the softness of her skin. The room was filled with a quiet symphony of their breaths and the occasional soft sigh that escaped between kisses. It was an intimate dance, a celebration of their love that needed no words.
