6. Vogue

The last few days of our time in Bilbao we mainly relaxed and did a few touristy things. I was now back in England, London to be specific. I was hoping once I got back from Spain to enjoy my little cottage in the countryside for a little longer than I was able to before I had to come here for my Vogue shoot.

I was sat in the makeup chair at the moment chatting with Jenny who was my makeup artist, "I saw all over Instagram you were in Bilbao last week with your lil group of F1 buddies, how was it?"

I looked up at her giving her a little warning look, I've known Jenny 2 years now and we've made a rule that she should never trust social media. So, every time she says she saw something on social media I give her a little questioning look. "It was nice, the weather was oddly decent for January so we managed to get out quite a bit."

Sometimes I feel like even with friends, I'm a little too vague and my PR training without me realising, will kick in. Oh the joys of being a celebrity, it really should come with a warning next time.

We didn't speak much after that and when she was done touching my makeup I stepped out of the room as I was instructed what they wanted me to do. The outfit they had me in was actually really cute, usually I'll see some questionable choices but of course I never voice these opinions.

After about 20 minutes of constant clicking of a camera I was asked to make my way over to the high table along with a tall stool. I sat down and got myself ready for the interview part of the shoot, usually I actually quite enjoy these.

Vogue originally asked if I could do a house tour as a part of my interview but I declined because as much as I love my fans my little cottage is my safe little space I do not like sharing. So, instead they have created a line up of celebrities and who I would kiss, marry and then kill.

"Okay, so what we're going to do is present you with 3 photos. You then have 30 seconds to decide which one you'll kiss, marry and kill and then you have to share with us," the interviewer explained as the cameras were switched on.

I began to feel a little nervous as 3 photos were placed down in front of me. I saw Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman and John Cena's faces and I was able to quickly make my decision.

"Before I give my answers, I'd like to say I have nothing against any of these people!" I said as I placed my hands in the air. "So, I'd have to kiss Hugh Jackman because who wouldn't let's be honest. Marry Cate Blanchett because I am convinced we are soulmates and then unfortunately I am killing off John Cena... sorry."

I could already feel the John Cena fans coming for me, "John is the only one I haven't had the pleasure of meeting so I think that's why I'd kill him," I explained as 3 new photos were placed in front of me.

After my 30 seconds were up I glanced at the camera before giving my answer, "oh I can already feel the pressure getting to me."

"It's quite stressful isn't it?" The interviewer asked me as I nodded my head in response.

"No matter the answer I give I'm going to be offending someone out there which is never what I wish to do but unfortunately the game is the game," I stared at the photos once again before finally giving my answer.

"I shall be kissing Adam Sandler, marrying Andy Samberg and then killing John Krasinski. I'm only killing John because he's all Emily's, and as someone who likes to consider Emily Blunt a friend, I do not wish to be on her bad side," I laughed as I handed the photos back to the interviewer.
