Danny and I were currently sat on the plane with still an hour left on the flight. So far we had played Uno, chess, checkers, and then also watched Megamind because why not and now we were just sat opposite one another on the jet peacefully.

"I saw your little moment with Lando earlier, do you like him?" The Australian asked has he wiggled his eyebrows at me goofily.

I decided it's better to be honest with Daniel than lie, plus he's probably one of the most trustworthy people on the planet. "I don't know how I feel, but recently I keep getting this bubbly feeling in my stomach, he smiles and my heart warms, not to mention the fact I'm blushing all the time when he's around."

"Yeah, I think we've noticed."

"We?" Who the hell was we?

"Oh your little gang, Max, Charles, Carlos and heck even Checo noticed and he's oblivious to everything," he answered as my mouth fell agape. I thought I was hiding it all really well. "You clearly like him more than a friend, let's be honest."

I buried my head into my hands as I groaned slightly annoyed. "I don't know what I feel, I've never felt the way I feel with Lando with anyone else before and it's confusing."

"I think it might be because you've never truly liked someone, never felt as happy with them as you do with Lando. You're always a happy person Maria but around him it's a whole new level," I could tell he was being fully honest with me and I appreciated it.

"Thank you Danny," I gave him a big smile before looking out of the window to see the dark blue ocean for as far as I could see.

I was in my apartment with my hair stylist and makeup artist currently making sure I looked my very best. I decided this year as I have my own apartment I won't be staying at the hotel along with all of the other celebrities despite it being a tradition.

It also meant that I wouldn't have to deal with all the paparazzi waiting outside the hotel as no one knew where I lived and I hoped on keeping it that way.

Two small strands of hair on both my sides of my head had been posited whilst the rest of my head was currently being curled. My makeup wasn't a simple look so I didn't dare to it myself as I already knew I would have messed it up.

The idea for my makeup was to have a vine full of flowers running across my left cheek and I knew I just didn't have the talent to do it. Nor did I have light green eyeliner for my eyes because I didn't even know it existed. Thankfully, Jenny did know it existed and had already brought some ready for today.

After about another 20 minutes both my hair and makeup was all done and then it was time to put on the dress. With a little help it was on in just a few minutes and I was happy with how I looked.

"Time for jewellery," Jenny let me know as she opened the jewellery boxes and handed me a few silver Cartier rings that they had let me borrow for the evening.

After that it was a bracelet they had too gifted me and then a necklace with a small flower on that I had already owned and thought it was perfect for the event. I let out a shaky breath as the nerves started to appear in the pit of my stomach.
