They all rushed to the ballroom.
"If there's anyone that has an objection." They heard Ramsley say.
"Yeah, l got a few objections!" Jim interrupted.
Sara ran over to him.
"Get away from her." Edward said as he started to pull Sara away from Jim. "l lost her once. l don't intend to let it happen again."
"This is not Elizabeth." Jim said. "Ramsley, you tell him the truth."
"l don't know what you're talking about." Ramsley said.
"Elizabeth didn't kill herself. He did." Jim said. "He's been lying to you all along."
"I said to get away from her!" Edward said, drawing a sword.
"Dad!" The twins exclaimed. "He's telling the truth."
Edward looked at his children.
"Read this." Wesley said, handing him the letter.
"What's this?" Edward asked.
"Elizabeth's real letter." Vanessa replied.
Edward started to read the letter. He looked at his two children. If his kids were saying it was Elizabeth's real letter, then it must be true.
"What's the meaning of this, Ramsley?" He asked. "This letter is written in her handwriting."
"Your union was unacceptable." Ramsley said. "l tried to warn you, but you wouldn't listen."
"So you killed her." Edward said.
"l told you it would be a mistake to run away with that girl." Ramsley said.
"But l loved her!" Edward said. "Was love my mistake?"
"Yes! l tried to protect you. All these years l've sacrificed for you. Ramsley said. "Well, damn you. Damn you all to hell!"
A giant hole with fire below it opened up. Something wrapped around Vanessa around Megan's legs, pulling them towards the hole. The two girls screamed.
"Vanessa! Megan!" The others cried.
Vanessa tried to hold onto the edge, but Ramsley was pulling them down. Vanessa couldn't hold on any longer and let go. But, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her up. She thought it would be her father or brother, but it was Marcus. And Wesley had helped Megan.
"Are you two okay?" Marcus asked.
The girls nodded.
"Thank you." Vanessa said.
"You're welcome." Marcus said with a small smile.
Vanessa rushed over to her father.
"Are you alright, sweetheart?" Edward asked.
"I'm okay, Daddy." Vanessa said.
"Sara?" Jim said. "Wake up, honey."
They all turned their attention to see Sara fainted and was unconscious. They noticed floating glowing blue ball appearing.
"Leave us alone." Jim said.
"No, it's okay Dad." Megan said.
The glowing orb surrounded Sara and lifted her in the air. Her appearance slightly changed with her hair and dress. She really did look like Elizabeth this time.
"Elizabeth?" Edward asked. "Is it really you?"
"Yes, my love." Elizabeth replied.
Edward kissed Elizabeth, which was a little awkward since it was really Sara.
Jim soon interrupted them and Sara was back to herself and alright.
"Can you ever forgive me?" Edward said to the Evers.
"What's to forgive?" Sara said. "You loved her."
"Take this." Edward said, handing them a parchment. "It's the deed to the house. Do whatever you want with it."
"Daddy." Vanessa said.
"Yes, sweetheart?" Edward asked.
"I don't really want to leave." Vanessa said, glancing at Marcus. "But, I also don't want to be away from you or Wesley. Is there a way for us to stay?"
"I suppose there is if we've been able to do it all this time." Edward said as he pulled Elizabeth to the ground. "That is, if the Evers are alright with it."
"It is your home, after all." Sara said. "You're welcome to stay here as long as you'd like."
"Thank you." Edward said before turning to the two servants. "You're welcome to go, if you'd like. We'll certainly be able to get by without you. But, you're welcome to stay here as well."
"I think we'll stay." Emma said.
Vanessa hugged her father and then smiled at Marcus. This was her home after all and she was glad to be able to stay.
