It's going to be quite an interesting day. I'm not sure I want to tangle with other governments, I have enough trouble with my own, with the tax evasions et al. I can't imagine what the duke wants to discuss with me. I imagine it has to do with his daughter, Carolyn, yes, that's her name, Carolyn.

What to wear today? I haven't the slightest notion. What does one wear to an embassy?

I have a black suit,  a white shirt, but I'm not wearing a tie!

"Phoebe, is Terry outside?" Freddie asked as he looked in the mirror to smooth his hair.

"He is"

"Okay, see you later, don't eat all of Mom's cheese biscuits" Freddie said.

"Where to Freddie, by the way, you look quite nice this morning" Terry said.

"27 Wilton Crescent, it's the Luxenbourg Embassy in Belgravia,"  he told Terry.

Kensington is quite busy today and it is a beautiful day. A beautiful day, a great lyric for a song. What if Roger is right and I'm setting myself up for some difficulties. Oh, I can't let that goofball get to me.
Terry pulled up in front of the embassy and announced, FREDDIE MERCURY. They were immediately admitted.
"Just stay around Terry, I have no idea how long I'll be."
Freddie was led  through the majestic halls of one if the oldest embassies in the UK.
The government seeked refuge and was housed there since WW2.

He was announced to the duke and entered his study.

"Ah, Freddie my boy, thank you for coming, please have a seat."

"Thank you, your Grace" Freddie politely responded

"Please Freddie, considering what I am about to propose, I think you should call me Jean, because my full name doesn't drip off the tongue.  It's Jean Benoit Guilaut ume Robert Antoine Louis Marie Adolphe Marc d'Avian."

"Woo, Jean, quite a mouthful" said Freddie.

Tea was sent into the duke's study and both of them sat staring at each other as his major domo poured.

Freddie  looked at the tea service and remembered his from last night thinking how lucky he was to surround himself with such exquisite clutter. (sorry, I had to)

The Dukes POV

I need us to be perfectly frank with each other.

I love my daughter Freddie and there is nothing that I would not do for her but she is quite a handful. She's  beautiful, bright and extremely willfull. I know it's my fault, being that my wife died when Carolyn was quite young. Being head of state, I wasn't able  to give her the attention and discipline she needed. She's had nannys, governesses and private tutors but her socialization has not matured given the role she must play as she matures. From what I heard and gathered, you did not take any nonsense from her and gave her the spanking she should have received  from me years ago.
