And so, kinda like waking up on a Sunday morning, he began regaining consciousness. He could hear the voices getting louder and louder. His eyes began detecting what looked like a bunch of stars, and stadium lights, all mixed together. Chase's subconscious brain began putting the pieces together, and detecting the picture, before he even knew what was going on. There seemed to be a strange party atmosphere, but it wasn't a party.
Felt more serious than a party. Almost like a competition. A battle royale, if you will. That's the vibe it gave. Whatever it was, it surely didn't look like heaven.
